Madison Bay Company Ornate Vintage Style Brass Holder and Ox Bone Pen Set

I use this to hold my fountain pen on my desk and not only does this brass pen holder look good it compliments whatever pen I lay in it. Very sturdy and good weight (brass).

The pen was heavier than I thought it would be and thus has a better balance in my hand. Holder is beautiful and the whole dip pen process slows me down to a great easy-going pace.

The pen stand is very well made, polished and sturdy. I figured for a few extra bucks, I might as well purchase he stand along with a pen. The pen had minor cracks in the bone but that may just be the natural texture of the material. This would be a five star product if it came with a better nib. The nib of the pen would not hold any ink.

This is a very pretty, heavy piece. It looks vintage and is a very pretty addition to my desk!

It cost about $18. The pen rolled off the holder and hit my desk (about a 2" drop). The bone handle snapped offwhere it enters the pen nib holder.I haven't pursued returning the item as I just don't have the time to deal with this.I do not recommend this item. Save your money as it is not a functional pen and cheaply made.

The person I gave it to as a Christmas was completely delighted and immediately made desk space for it!!
