Ditch the DVD drive for more storage space
Used this to add a secondary SSD to my laptop. Simply removed the CD drive from the laptop, insert hard drive in caddy, and slide caddy in laptop and boot it up.Works flawlessly.No complaints.

I was provided with the wrong type of caddy adapter.Rather than an ide caddy i was provided a no-name sata to sata caddy!
