Hard to get to work at first but once you get it rolling it's very opaque and shows exteremely well on black paper. I use them for art on toned paper and on my black sticky notes. Better than any pen I've used especially on dark or toned paper. Even the glitter or metallic pens I've ever used in the past. They are very aesthetically pleasing to look at as well with the designs on them. The plastic is very thick and durable so I haven't broken a single one (yet) but it doesn't get in the way of writing in any way. It actually makes it more comfortable to hold, like a pencil. It has a nice texture to the plastic and they are very fun to use. They actually show better than any metallic or white marker I've used and they are a lot easier to control

I engrave on all sorts of materials, one of which is bull skulls. As long as your background is a dark color, you can draw sketch etc within or around your art needed. Works well

I've been using a black page sketchbook as a journal for over a year now and used many different pens to write in it. I'm looking for something to just jot down thoughts and the occasional sketch so I appreciate the finer tip on these pens vrs other pens I've used. It does write very fine *but* it does skip a lot as well especially if you are not storing the pen with the tip pointed down to keep the ink flowing. Overall, fantastic price for how many pens there are, and if you let the ink dry completely it's not running or sticking to the other page when you close the book as much as my other gel pens. Very happy with it, but I do wish it wasn't skipping as much as it does!

Ink flow is nice once it gets going. Don’t leave the top off. Great for the price!

I have been on the hunt for some decent white pens. These seemed like a bargain, and what you get is bargain quality pens. While they are quite easy to use, they are a bit sheerer than I’d like. But, my biggest issue so far is that the first pen I tried didn’t work at all, like it was dried up. If it ends up being just the one out of 12, it is easy enough to forgive. However, I will try the rest soon and amend my review and hope that it will be more positive.The bum pen aside, if you are looking for decent white pens for more pro-type uses, these are not for you. If you are, like me, just an amateur artist exploring black paper uses, these would work ok…as long as there are no more dried up pens! 😉UPDATE: Seven out of 12 have been dry…don’t buy!

We ordered a lot of these for an event, and I’m glad we tested them beforehand. We could not get the ink actually flowing on several different types of paper, so we had to find another solution. The price was good but I’m not sure how these could actually be used successfully, maybe someone else knows!

J'utilise ces stylos à gouaches pour dessiner, mandalas, fleurs etc sur papier canson noir. Résultats très beau et de plus, j'apprécie énormément la régularité et fluidité de l'encre lorsque l'on dessine.
