I recently purchased the SEALY Electric Blanket Throw, and it has quickly become a cozy staple in my home. Here’s my honest review based on my experience with its design, heating capabilities, and user-friendliness.Comfort & DesignThe light grey flannel material feels luxuriously soft and lightweight. It has a premium feel, and the size (50x60 inches) is ideal for a personal throw—perfect for curling up on the couch or adding warmth to a workspace. The neutral color also complements various decor styles.Heating PerformanceThis blanket heats up quickly, providing warmth almost instantly. It features 6 different heat settings, allowing for customizable comfort, whether I need just a hint of warmth or something much toastier. The warmth is distributed evenly, without any noticeable cold spots. For me, setting it around medium is plenty warm, but it's nice to have the high setting for particularly chilly days.Convenience & Safety FeaturesThe 2-10 hour auto shut-off function is a fantastic safety feature and gives peace of mind. I got this heated blanket because my little gal freezes all the time while I run hot. She can't sleep cold and I can't sleep hot, so this seemed like a practical solution. The gray color matched the rest of my bedding more and she definitely approved of the blanket's cozy design and functionality and big size. The blanket is medium thick and pretty durable. I stay away from heated blankets but the one I got this for enjoys making herself into a burrito within this blanket, so I'd say it's a pretty decent quality product and a good value that gets the job done.

This is a nice and soft blanket, and heats quickly. The only minor inconveniences with it are: (1) The controls have an LCD display with a backlight that only comes on when working the control and there is no other indicator that stays lit so you could take a glance at that indicates the control is on. You have to select one of the buttons to light up the display. The controls on our old electric blanket (another brand) had a LED display which was easy to see at night. (2) Since the blanket is so buttery soft, our comforter is always sliding down to the foot of the bed. Other than these two minor inconveniences, we really like the blanket.

This blanket would have been absolutely perfect except for two things. The temperature on low is too hot. We are elderly so I can’t imagine anyone needing more heat than that. The other issue is not having enough blanket to tuck in at the bottom. The blanket kept riding up over our heads. So every morning we are trying to retuck it into our mattress. Now, to be fair, our mattress is 22 inches thick but I really don’t want to be forced into getting an extra foot of fabric and sewing it along the bottom edge. The fabric is wonderful and the heating is very even. We have had polyester heated blankets before that were just awful.

This blanket is amazing! Queen size is perfect for a queen bed. Heating element doesn’t go all the way to the ends which is excellent! Only where you need it. It’s thick, soft and warm enough on its own that I haven’t even needed to turn the heat on much. I did a few times just to test and make sure it works of course. Heats up fast and is nice and toasty at medium heat. Dual temp controls are going to save my marriage! 🤣 Hopefully this lasts for a long time. Very happy with my purchase and would strongly recommend this brand over any of the cheaper options.

I am impressed with the quality of this electric blanket. It is the perfect length and width, super soft, and easy to operate, with several heat and timing options. It has made sleeping a dream!

Lower quality than I thought for the price. The blanket itself is very thin, so thin you can feel the wires/heating prongs inside. Blanket is very soft though and it does warm up fast

I ordered the twin size grey blanket. Now I like how soft it is and the size, but part of the bottom doesn't heat up not which I'm not happy with. Now let's talk about the temperature box/control panel. I like how it's closer to the feet area, but Functional: I would highly recommend you don't go past level 5 otherwise it gets super hot quickly. I've never set it past 8.5 hours on a 5. If I'm going to sleep, I bump it down to 3 cuz I have 2 other blankets I sleep with. I bought it cuz I needed the little extra heat to keep me warm. I am anemic so get cold super easy. The control box does light up blue when you press buttons.Value for money: yes I believe it is.Design: I love the softness, the heating sticks inside run up and down and are every 3-4 inches apart. I like that it's not wavey.Durability: not sure yet will give a updated review when winter is here. Washable: again not sure yet.

Bought it in part because it was a known brand made by a third party though.. not sure if it just a licensed products however quality seems good . It does heat up :)
