Great for mixing with other pure proteins.
Its really good, tastes clean. I've purchased this stuff before and used it on its own, this time I used it to make my own blend of hemp, pea, sprouted brown rice and straight cricket protein taste better. This product on its own actually tastes better than any standard whey or plant based proteins I've tried so I figured diluting it wouldn't be an issue and it indeed is not. Will buy again.

Embrace your inner extraterrestrial permaculturist!
Mixes well, better than I had hoped. Tastes good, which I did expect, as I'm a fan of Chapul's protein bars already. Plus... CRICKETS! Probably the first natural and in-situ non-vegetable source of protein for space colonists! I have news for you future Martians: your future tastes great. And you can embrace this part of it right now.*[full disclosure: I am a member of the Mars Society, a "Top Writer" on Quora, and a "Most Viewed Writer" in the category of Human Space Exploration, so I say all this with zero sarcasm, and if you pose the question I will wax eloquent on why exactly crickets should and probably will precede fish and shellfish in the developing Martian colonist food chain]*

Delicious, sustainable protein powder!
The chocolate protein powder is delicious - I’m onto my third bag! It doesn’t have the artificial taste that some whey powders have and it mixes really well into smoothies, oats, and milk (I use almond milk). Most importantly; it is a sustainable and responsible source of protein. What’s not to love.

Not bad
The taste was actually preferable in comparison to the Egg and Veggie protein mix I had been using. My only gripe is that as soon as you open it the product must be transferred into a more secure container. The packaging isn't very conducive to having a clean area, the powder is messy. Overall very decent product and works well.

What an awesome protein powder and no bloat!
I love that there are minimal ingredients in this powder and guess what.... It tastes just a good as any other protein powder, better than some I've tried actually. It digests well, no bloating, and so much protein! Absolutely getting more.

Perfect protein shake
The cricket protein powder is AMAZING! It took 1/4 dose of powder (2 tbsp) compared to traditional protein shakes (I use Cellucor Whey @ 2 scoops/8oz), no clumping in 8oz water, and actually tastes pretty good. No chalky after taste. Very excited to try it in a muffin recipe soon, but as a protein shake it's pretty good. The chocolate flavor didn't taste like weird artificial chocolate. If you can get past the mental part that there are crickets in it (which I really couldn't tell, it tasted great) then this is a better alternative.

I can usually tolerate health foods that don't taste very good but...
Now, I know I was taking a big chance on this stuff, but I saw favorable reviews for the most part and gave it a shot. This stuff was a lot worse than expected. I expected a powder that would dissolve similarly to other protein powders and I could just chug it if it didn't taste good. This stuff was gritty, never really dissolved, and smelled terrible. I gagged and nearly threw up! This seems to be just ground up crickets.
