Fan-Tastic Vent U1500WH Ultra Breeze Vent Cover - White Translucent

It took me quite a while to find this vent cover. It disappeared from Amazon for a bit and every RV supply house I could find was out of stock with no expectation of replenishment. I believe it may be discontinued at this point, which is a shame.This is a great vent cover that allows for superior air flow with the Fantastic fans than other “max flow” covers. It couldn’t be easier to install and also has a superior mounting system over every cover I’ve used on the market today.Highly recommend to anyone who can find it. I have the white one over my bedroom to block out direct sunlight over my bed and the smoked clear in my bathroom to maximize natural light.

I installed this on a 2021 Airstream Flying Cloud over my Fan-tastic vent fan. Install took me about 15 minutes (just make sure when you get on the roof you take everything with you so you aren't up-down-up-down). Order a tube of the Dicor sealant as well, you will need it to waterproof the install. This allows my fan to open fully and operate even while towing or raining. I will be buying a second one for the rear fan. They are a little more expensive than other vent covers, and I cannot attest to how they hold up long term, but for me the fit and installation were great.

This fan cover worked out great we had put it on our little runaway camper and had no issues with it and i would recommend it highly.

Item as advertised. Easy install and was a great addition for the fantastic fan. Make sure you don't buy a knockoff, they are too small and restrict airflow. This is the real deal. "Fan-Tastic Vent U1500WH Ultra Breeze Vent Cover". Could have used a little more packing between two vent covers ordered. Minor scratches, that cant be seen when installed. I installed this to keep rain out when vent is open and protect fan crank-up cover from damage when traveling or storm. White does well. . . . Smoke is way, way over priced. Would buy again.

I needed rain protection for my vents on the motorhome during warm weather on rain days. This fit the job. Easy to install, keeps the rain out with the vent open and helps keep it cooler inside. Quality is good and I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

Not much to say... Perfect fit, easy to install, works great to keep rain out while using the camper vent. I saw no noticeable reduction in vent performance, even though it does slightly limit the opening of the vent.Regarding installation, it is designed to be a no-drill installation by simply replacing 4 of the existing screws used to secure the vent. However, my camper vent was not installed with screws, so i had to drill new holes for this cover. Not a big deal, just required another trip up the ladder with a drill.

I recently had the the entire roof replaced on my 25' travel trailer. Both vents had MaxAir covers on them - including the original fantastic fan vent in the rear bath. That fan had numerous cracks in the plastic flange and housing (perhaps due to an improper installation of the original vent cover) and had to be replaced. The repair shop doing the roof replacement did not replace the vent cover on the fantastic fan, telling me that "these don't work."I made plans to add the newer model Max Air fan cover (even though I was hesitant to put a cover designed to mount to metal flange on a plastic flange)... then I found the links to this particular model. While I don't like the fact that mounting required cutting lap sealant, mounting into the roof and re-sealing the screw holes (Remember I just replaced the entire roof due to leaks that couldn't be fixed)... Once this was mounted and in place, I went inside and turned the fan on "high"... and had more air movement in the bath than I've had since this camper was new in 2004! It's perfect - and worth every penny more than the other models would have cost.

This vent is not generic adaptable to fantastic fans. My model is 2000TSC with a temperature control that features a auto "raise" and "lower" to the fan lid. However the fan lid opens approximately 2" higher then what Vent UB1500 will allow. Thus the Vent is useless when in a "auto" mode. To use this vent for the model specified I would have to "manually" set the opening of the fan cover to the Vent cover. Thus I have a useless application model for my fantastic fan! Secondly, I went to return the merchandise that cost approximately $57 to the vendor. UPS wanted over $61 for shipping and USPS wanted $39. Simple solution to me was to absorb the entire loss and provide a "lowest" rating to this product. My fantastic fan 2000TSC works great and is a asset to air ventilation on my coach, however it is a pity that our US supplies can not design a Vent cover that would fit generically all fantastic fans.

We received the vent on time and in good condition with all the hardware. It was easy to install. It allows the fantastic fan to work even when it is raining out which is the reason we bought it.

I used this vent cover to go overtop my newly installed Fantastic Vent/Fan. This cover allows the vent door to open fully, and allows more air flow into and out of the trailer. If you're going to go to all the trouble of installing a Fantastic Vent/Fan, get the model 1250 or higher which offers reversible air flow. This vent cover is easy to install. Make sure you use the proper self-levelling RV caulking to seal up your work. DO NOT use regular silicone. It will not stick properly to a rubber roof.

I had a camco model previously and this model (they sent me another model dometic not fan-tastic the one on the picture) i don't know if the dimension are the same but the cover vent do not open all the way , actually i gain 1 inch about more than the camco . The difference is that there is more space ahead probably for the fan-tastic fan that i order but not received yet. there is no bug screen .

Bought this for my Fantastic Fan Create-a-Breeze model as it said it fits all Fantastic Fans. Had a RV tech install it and it works perfect. Good height for the fan to operate perfectly.
