BELLXR Spherical Adult Road Bike Helmet

I just bought this helmet and I have to say it might be my favorite bike helmet I’ve ever had. Probably haven’t owned a Bell since I was as a kid but the color stood out to me (I got the cement). Super impressed with the quality all around, feels more sturdy than other helmets I’ve had in the past. It’s as comfortable as any other helmet I’ve had, but it feels more secure. Straps sit closer to the face than other helmets, which I like, and they fit below my ears—which was a concern with a POC helmet I had a couple years ago.All in all, if you are on the fence about buying this thing, I would say go for it!

Dude this thing is awesome, love the sunglasses slot. Was considering a Bontrager WaveCel, but apparently this is better and more comfortable. Looks dope, keep you head safe out there.

Bought this helmet based on the overall positive reviews online. Long story short, I don't like the clasp design. Also, the chin straps have a weird resonance or flapping effect in certain wind and at certain speeds that is a bit annoying. I ended up ordering an Abus that has a better clasp and retention strap system.The Bell isn't bad, but I'd say it is a 3.5 star helmet. Would be 4 with a less fiddly clasp that is a solution to a problem that didn't exist.

Overall I am pleased with the helmet, especially after difficulty finding others that fit my oval head (helmets from 3 other brands were too short).Pro:- comfortable, secure fit for an oval head- convenient magnetic buckle- a version of MIPS that doesn’t worsen fit or comfort- minimal exposed foam- good (not amazing) ventilationMixed or niche:- extended rear coverage (possible downside being weight mentioned below)- for bare scalps, better-than-average sunburn protectionCon:- a bit heavy for the price range (large: 325 g)UPDATE: After a month of near-daily use, I am increasing my rating to 5 stars. After getting accustomed I notice the weight less and continue to be impressed by the secure fit, reasonable ventilation without sunburn, durable design, and super-convenient buckle.

I've been on the hunt for a gravel/XC helmet for a long time. I used to love the helmets made by Louis Garneau, and have also been a big fan of all POC helmets. The POC Omne and Ventral never fit my head right.After reading many reviews on this helmet and the commentary on the fit and oval shape I had to test this out.This is one of the comfiest helmets I own. For reference I measure the circumference of my head at 61.5 cm. This helmet tops out at 62 and I can say it seems like there's even a little bit more room.Haven't crashed (and hope not to) but the testing done on this helmet is sound. I will be putting this thing through plenty of miles.

Great fit and lighter weight than other brands I’ve tried, but quite expensive compared to others. The MIPS system is still much bulkier than standard helmets.

Awesome spherical technology, great built quality, slightly bigger than regular mips helmets, but weight penalty is minimal.
