I was really surprised at how cheap this chest was. The outside was an unnatural color of redish! One corner was bent in just slightly letting you see it was not any kind of wood at all. The inside protective area was a thin plastic that under the stress of silverware, would surely lose its shape. I am returning and would certainly not recommend this item.
