Feline NaturalFreeze Dried Lamb and King Salmon Feast 100g

We have 3 cats - all getting on the older side and each one dealing with a different health issue. Even using prescriptions from the vet, they were still not feeling well. So, I started looking into what we were feeding them and found out that all cat food sold in pet stores use meal and other fillers in their dry foods and the wet foods all had agar or something similar to make the food more palatable. The problem: all of these foods are bad for cats' health. I also found out that feeling them foods without those additives can help keep them healthier. So, I have been feeding them this food (plus two other freeze dried foods from New Zealand where they don't poison their soils, waters, or livestock). I was able to wean all the cats off their meds (slowly) and waited to see if they got sick again. They did not. In fact, they are healthier - - they are playing more and clearly are more comfortable. One of them has started jumping up on the kitchen counter again. Something he hadn't done for the last year. Not that I'm happy about a cat on the counters, but I take it as a sign that he is doing much better. And...best of all, the cats love the freeze dried foods. You just have either put some water in the food bowl or have lots of water available for them day and night. I do both and they dig into their food bowls with gusto.

My very fussy cats are lining up for more of this product.

I recently had to switch my cat’s food over from rabbit after I became allergic to rabbit randomly, it was so hard finding food he could tolerate on the market because most brand use so many fillers, and also use things he is allergic to like soy, poultry, etc. I took a chance on freeze dried food from this brand because it was pretty cheap for the small bag so I figured if it didn’t work out I wouldn’t have made a huge investment. Omg, my cat LOVES this stuff. I normally have to introduce food to him slowly or else he will get cranky and go on a hunger strike + develop all sorts of GI issues. As soon as I switched him over to the lamb he was hooked. He devours his food now. There’s none left in his bowl. I use this as a topper to supplement his wet food regimen now, which I think prevents him from getting diarrhea from the canned wet food. His BM are very solid and regular now (he used to go through phases of constipation then diarrhea on the regimen I had him on before… not ideal but again it was HARD finding food he wasn’t allergic to + was willing to eat.) They also don’t stink up the whole house like they used to either. I’m very happy with the switch and thank goodness a friend of mine who is a vet suggested lamb to try since it’s usually a good pick for sensitive pets. Bullseye. I’m purchasing for as long as he can eat it :)

Pros:My Oliver is addicted to this. I was weary of changing his food and switching to raw freeze dried, but now Oliver throws up less. He has had stomach issues prior because he eats too fast even with food puzzler. When I started using this product, I would sprinkle inside his food puzzler with other food and my smart cat figured out how to use his paw to pick the Natural Feline out of his puzzler. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. Now, when amazon delivers the Natural feline, he smells it from the box. He even refuses to eat his Royal canine digest, at times, which I supplement with this. Oliver has also gained and maintained his weight with this addition.This is the only food treat that has enabled me to trim his nails because it keeps him distracted, which is a plus.Cons:Yes, it does crumble easily. Half of the bag was crumbs. I did not care though because I just measure apropriately and Oliver still ate it and did not throw up a bit even though he still ate it quickly. The bigger bag is less crumbs.Only other con is half the bag is filled. Come on people. I do not like paying for air. I purchased both sizes small and large. Large bag was half full.... I am going to try another brand just to see if I can get more for the price and to see if Oliver likes it as much. Otherwise I will be sticking with this.
