I love this stuff. It's perfect for hanging things up at locations where you're not allowed to put holes in the walls. And you can pretty much fix most things temporarily with it. I never go on set without it.

I bought this to secure UltraTouch Radiant Barrier to my garage door. While it appears to secure it initially, I really haven't given it a chance to fail because I ended up using foam inserts wedged between the radiant barrier and the garage door framing to better secure it.My low rating is because I also tried using it to secure a near weightless, cloth made spider and a 5-inch tall action figure to the side of my desk; the tape failed to secure either for longer than 24 hours. As a matter of fact, it's not even tape, it's more like the sticky stuff you see securing faux credit cards to the piece of paper in junk mail offers. It's also impossible to remove a piece of it from the roll without it sticking to your fingers and "anything" else it touches, including blades and scissors. You end up ruining a good portion of it every time you manage to get a piece off by stretching it beyond it's elastic capabilities. I gave up on using a blade to get a clean cut piece and resorted to pulling it off.I'm sure it will hold items in place that lay flat on another surface, but if you need it to hold something vertically, I have yet to see it work.Edit--Changing my review from a 2 star to a 1 star because of all the people saying that it works. One reviewer even says that it works but his posters start falling off after 3 days; while another says it's a temporary solution--what?!?!?! THIS STUFF DOES NOT HOLD ITEMS VERTICALLY ON A WALL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I had bought this a while back and was so scared to use it just because of how darn sticky this stuff and how easily it could damage my walls. Anyway I bit the bullet and hung three framed posters in my room. The posters had stayed in place for 3 or four days and then started to sag and become crooked so I decided to take the posters down and try some command strips. I removed it exactly how the container said and the sticky stuff from two of the three posters ripped up paint.Long story short the stuff works, but I wouldn't suggest this to anyone who wants to use this to hang anything on walls.

Hard to remove. Sticks great but only if the weather is right. Takes pain off walls, and will leave residue if not removed properly. I use this stuff all the time at work, it the best alternative for aTemporary solution, but not good for anything long term or fragile.
