I used these for my students. These work well for taking notes and pencil drawings. The pages are thin, so I wouldn't recommend it for ink drawing. There aren't a whole bunch of pages so some students ran out of room and need 2 sketchbooks. They're a good size and decent quality for basic practice drawing. I wouldn't use these for any serious drawing.

I was so disappointed to see that a random amount of these notebooks come with lines. I did not see that advertised anywhere and I can’t use 7 of them. I wasted my money since I began my project and now are 7 short.

Not a terrible product, but not great. I do like the stitch binding but that's about all I like. I'm an artist and this paper is subpar for anything artistic such as sketching in pencil, and for sure NOT pen. Any media will bleed right through the pages. The cardboard cover is also very thin. It's got a high school play panphlet feel to it except the paper in those are thicker 20lb stock. I give these a C-
