Super cute and very easy to work with.

I ordered two boxes for my after school group and they really enjoyed putting them together themselves and painting/decorating. They were easy enough for most of the kids to put together (6 yr olds needed help).

107 pieces make it seem like there's more than there is. Each birdhouse has to be built individually and some even need to be taken out of the original balsa wood template. In all of the photos that show the little wood chips. It looks like they are ornaments that you could color to hang. Maybe something that is an inch and a half to 2 in. But really they are like a quarter inch so super super tiny. And they will be cute if you color them and glue them to the bird houses, but because they look like they were large I had a different project in mind. Unfortunately it is too late now for me to order something different for the event I am hosting tomorrow. Really you're getting 21 birdhouses and crap you don't need.

First the birdhouses were affordable! The quality was more than expected! They were thick and sturdy and my school age children had more fun playing with them! I was so so worried the size would not fit the age but it was perfect! All ages! Super fun! Perfect size! I will purchase again for my daycare!!

We purchased these kits to put in our daughters goodie bags. They are absolutely adorable and the kids loved them.

The only thing, I just wish they were bigger so the birds can actually get in them. But my family find it relaxing to paint them. We are just using them for decoration along our fence.
