Very silver.
Threads are steel, on the neck, and the lid, so there's alot of squeaky friction when going off and on. No thanks, didn't even try the bottle.

Keeps water cold for hours!
Keeps water with ice super cold for several hours. I had asked if it was dishwasher safe and was told yes top rack, but it is too tall to fit in my dishwasher. So kind of a pain to wash by hand. It has a bit of a metallic smell to it, but a slight one. It does not sweat, which is why I chose this one. I love it and recommend it.
