Once again, Sam Rice delivers common sense, easy to digest (pardon the pun) guidance on how to eat well. Sam cuts through all of the nutri-nonsense that bombards us from every angle and offers well-researched, evidence-based advice on how to get the maximum nutrition from your food. Her recipes are always easy to follow and as delicious as they are nutritious. This book, and her Miidlife Method book, have made me more adventurous in the kind of food I cook. They also have made me a better meal-planner, which means not just that I have great food at hand all week, but also means we can divide the cooking responsibilities amongst the whole family. We always have one of Sam’s soups in the fridge and all of us have a favourite of hers that is our signature mid-week dish. So ditch the supplements and get everything you need form your food with this fab book! Great way to kick start 2023!

Sensible advice & delicious, easy recipes
After reading this book and trying a number of the recipes, I feel like I have a better, healthier relationship with food.I particularly love the fibre-rich muesli, lamb meatballs and hot smoked salmon pasta. I’m snacking more sensibly and haven’t been hungry, which feels a bit miraculous since I’ve lost a few pounds.I know it’s not rocket science, but I just needed to be reminded that food is my friend, and that’s what this book’s done for me. I’ve ditched the expensive vitamins and supplements and I’m enjoying a varied and nutritious diet for the first time in a long time.Wish I’d done this years ago!

Easy-to-follow nutrition and recipes without the jargon!
What an absolute dream this book is! Nutrition information can be a minefield and new studies seem to come out every week which adds to the confusion. This book condenses down what you need to know, without jargon or judgement. The recipes are fab too! I've bought my sister a copy as well - highly recommended!

This book really does demystify what we should be putting into our bodies and why. The recipes are easy and very delicious. This is the 3rd book I have bought by Sam Rice and her books are now my “go-to” recipe books - particularly for those mid-week meals. Thank you.

Super simple guide to understanding what we put in our bodies
This is the third book I have bought by this author. The simplicity in which Sam explains things makes it so much easier to understand and relate to. Packed full of information on what foods contain what vitamins and nutrients and delicious simple recipes.

Brilliant ⭐️ - Does what it says on the tin!
As always, Sam Rice can be relied upon to deliver a good dose of intelligent, straight-forward, sound advice on a subject that can be very confusing. As with her previous books, her recipes are delicious, easy to follow and of course, super healthy. I’ve already cooked several and they have been total crowd pleasers. This will certainly be my go to recipe book and I look forward to reaping the health benefits too!
