Very good
Definitely a companion to the 3 disc collection of the wwf attitude era. Keep in mind the first DVD provides a basic background as to how the attitude era got its start.

Educational history of the Attitude Era, but no clips of just plain matches...
This is an ok product. Really thought about knocking it down to 2 stars. Why? Well, considering most of the other DVD's of this kind like the Kurt Angle one and the Best of the 2000's both show matches, which is what I thought this would have, this DVD just gives a history lesson about these matches. So it's educational, sure, but I was expecting matches with a bit of cutaway scenes with some history thrown in from time to time.

My only complaint is this collection wasn't a few hours longer. Before the Attitude Era the WWE could at times be bland and cartoonish.

1997
1997 was such an influential year in WWE but unfortunately the hour-long special left much to be desired on talking about 1997. This video is worth more for the bonus matches that are already on many countless DVD sets. If you want a more descriptive story on WWE in 1997 watch Monday Night War series or the WWE 1997 video from Kayfabe Commentaries. This was not a wise purchase.
