I used this on my 48 Volt eBike, no issues.
Breaker doesn't care about your voltage rating. I needed a cheap alternative 50 Amp breaker for my 48 Volt eBike, this is it. DYI eBikes tend to look......bad. I like to enclose the battery pack and all electronics for a professional appearance. This breaker protects all my hard work PLUS, should a momentary high Amp situation occur, this little unit will handle it and reset without my having to open the semi-permanent enclosure. Nice.

Just in case
The whole purpose of a circuit breaker is in case of a problem. I got the 50A unit for use with a boat trolling motor said to use up to 40 amps. I like that this comes with the short bar with a 3/8 hole for mounting on the battery terminal. The one thing I wish was different would be if it had a 5/16 or 3/8 stud for the existing wires to connect to instead of a 3/16 stud. They do include a ring connector to go to that stud, but not needing to cut off the original and put on a new one would make it easier.Update June 2013I used the boat & trolling motor with no problems except running the battery down fully (and becoming the fish "dead in the water"). When I got back and connected the battery to my truck (to at least partially recharge it versus leaving it totally dead), this breaker popped from the recharging power flow. Interesting that the power flow for recharge is what became too great even with my truck just idling.

Working well
Wired them into the hot cable for my dual batter setup on my side by side. Giving me good peace of mind that my system won't just fry.

12-Volt, 50-Amp, Automatic Reset Circuit Breaker Worked Out Great.
I needed a 12-Volt, 50-Amp, automatic resetting circuit breaker for a 2,500 lb winch mounted to a trailer and this worked great.
