I THINK THIS BOOK IS CODED
I do love this book and I do have metaphysical tendencies and it does not in that way add much that is new. The font is awkward and the print is difficult to read, pages glare at you like it is a mirrored image (blue light glasses might help). The prose does not always "flow" through out, although very encouraging to read on any level. For that reason and because the final MEM (M) in Name #70 is not a final MEM can this be coded? Is this what the Centre teaches? Would someone tell me if this is a typo or has some other significance. All of the others "appear to be correct". And no I do not call myself a Kabbalist, I have a minimal knowledge of the Kabbalah, as well as the Hebrew alphabet. I'd just like to know if someone would care to share a "received" answer. The text is a 5 star but minus 1 for unnecessarily difficult to read pages-less glitz needed; the content should stand for itself.

More of a coffee table book
Updated: I just learned that the author was found liable in a civil suit and ordered to pay damages to his victim for inflicting malice and intentional harm with sexual advances & drugs. This looks to have happened about 10 years after writing the book. Very disappointing (especially in light of what the value of implementing 72 Sacred Names can do for oneself and others).I am fairly new to the 72 Sacred Names, and I was hoping for more information, so I purchased this book. There really isn't that much more information in the book, but never-the-less, I'm keeping it, because it is more information than I had. It's very difficult to read because it's on shiny brightly colored paper, very small type, and switching paper and type colors on every page.It also would have been nice that in the "transliteration" index, that next to each of the Sacred Names, that the author would have added the page number. I'll need to do that myself.

Content great; but get the digital edition!
I so wanted to read this,, but I feel as if the grandiose person that designed this was in a different universe. Flashy pink, blue and silver, on what they call "calendared paper" in the printing trade, so interfered with the content that I felt that the 73rd word for God was "Flashy"! Can you imagine a bright silver background and then WHITE fonts? OMG. Can't read it; it's too much for me! Five years of kabbalah training but if I can't read this, I'm done with the book!

just a self help book.
Hi everyone. This will only be my second review on amazon. In fact this will only be the second review ive ever really posted anywhere. As i say this i would like to point out that i rarely offer up my thoughts unless i have something of worth to contribute. I gave this book only two stars. I would have given it only one, however i felt that would be rude to the author and a little more harsh than intended. This book is not completely useless. It is not of no value. However it is not truly meant for the serious and thoughtful reader. Before i share with you my short and unfortunate bashing of this title i want to address the 72 names of god myself. I do not have an impressive knowledge or understanding of the 72 names of god. This is not because i find them undeserving of my time. There is a great wealth of spiritual information out there that needs to be sifted through for a body to gain ground spiritually. Of this wealth of information i have spent a great deal of time and effort in an attempt to improve myself. During all of this time i have felt a great and powerful pull towards these 72 names. Each name is said to represent a different aspect of god. Each name a portion of the all diety. In such a way each name is said to encompass its own virtue or set of virtues and different godly abilities. I have seen much in the way of mysticism and esoterics and in this way i can see how these sayings about the 72 names are very plausible. The author of this book was it seems not really trying to communicate these things in a meaningful and effectual way. Please understand that he has some valid insights inside. The most important of these insights are not however worth the even truly moderate price of this work. The insights i feel are important are that he says it is necessary to have an understanding of what the name is intended to do and to do something to show a true faith towards the name. Such as a act of asceticism in such a way that is having to do or tied into the effect of the name in itself. This book it seems is more of a self help or personal empowering "you can do it" text. The author shares with you his deep found respect and desire to understand the meaning and significance of these names. He tells his story of longing and seeking for the information behind these names. If that were true i believe he would have taken a more serious tact in his approach to this work. The 72 names of god are important and holy and there power is far greater than this book addresses. The author speaks about how moses accomplished his workings with the aid of these names. At nowhere in this book are things such as these addressed. If you are a serious spiritualist or esotericist or just a person that is looking for a more substantial understanding of the 72 names, i suggest you forget this book. Dont buy it. Rather i suggest you look elsewhere with vigor. I warn you however that in my searching there are not any very apparent sources of beneficial insights into these names. Most books on the subject and most websites all seem to follow the same course. For some reason, perhaps because of the popularity behind the "72 names of god", authors and bloggers all seem to look jokingly upon the 72 names. These people are probably just trying to earn money or respect for their many wasted words. Out of the few sources that seem serious enough, their insight is limited and work fragmented. This being said i encourage you to continue on in your attempt to gain insight into this important topic. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS BOOK IS NOT IT.

Would be amazing
This book would be amazing but for the print. The colours are glary. The most important elements of the book, the symbols are displayed very small and are very hard to see because of the colour contrasts especially the silver on light green background.
