It does what it says it does: it heats up and the blades begin to spin, and then spins very fast - moving the hot air. It’s quiet as can be: silent! My only criticism is that I wish the blades were bigger and pushed more air. But, for no electrical power, it works really well and is s perfect fit in our log cabin.

It throws some wind when placed over a Mr. Buddy heater in my hunting blind, but doesn’t feel like it really warms much up. It is extremely quiet and doesn’t spook wild game, and the value is good just wished you could feel the heat it is moving. Buy it and Thank me later

Product worked on my pellet stove for about 20 minutes, stopped spinning and hasn't worked since. Tried on multiple pellet and wood burning stoves, fan doesn't spin.

Ok, so its simple, quiet, but that’s it. I’ve used it on top of a Mr. Buddy heater in a tent to move the heat around, but it just doesn’t work. It spins, but I can’t feel any air movement when I place my hand in front of the fan. Perhaps it does move some air, but its not worth it the price for what little effect it has on heat distribution. Don’t bother buying

My boyfriend has a cabin with a wood stove and this is amazing to cool down the wall and move the heat around. The fan operates off the heat of the stove. Amazing purchase

Sits on the front of our gravity feed pellet stove and once the temperature rises away it goes!! We got one for our friends who have a wood stove and it works great for them as well!
