There are a lot of comments about getting the plastic off, the seller's advice is correct, fill your sink with hot water, roll the Guiro around in it for a minute then peel off easy. This is a good guiro, I like the sounds from holding the handle and also from putting my hand inside the handle and dampening, solid sounds, great value!
