This is my second set, but they're not a replacement just for convenience. My first set is several years old, and they continue to work flawlessly.

Though the packaging could be improved ( the bits had come loose and were jumbled together) the moment you pick up a countersink bit and look at it you can see the difference in quality. The first time you drill a hole in Ash or hard maple any misgivings about the cost of the bits disappear. They work beautifully. I wish I had never bought my “nice set” of Mr Snappys. They are garbage next to the fullers. These bits cut cleanly, easily bore for a full depth plug, and the cutting flutes are easily resharpened, though I haven’t had to do that yet.Everything about these countersinks is high quality. I wish I had been able to get stop collars with this set, but I will get them separately. The value of this set compared to the set that comes in the wooden case with plug cutters is just unbeatable. The plug cutters can be purchased for $15 and if you use your bits all the time the wooden case is unnecessary.As a cabinet maker I have zero regrets.

I did an extensive search for a quality c’sink for my woodshop that would consistently clean cut at the proper angles and depth for standard US slotted woodscrews, this is the perfect product.

After all of these years of working with aged, piece meal, hand-me-down countersink drill bits, today a proud owner of a full set.An essential woodworking accessory from an essential name in the industry!I could go into a yummy playful description of the product, the sharpness, the top shelf quality, or how purdy all 5 look on the workbench.But seriously? It’s a Fuller product you’re looking at, you already know all of this.
