The thermometer was a nice added bonus that I find myself using frequently to make sure that the wax temp is not to hot before using on myself or family member. A small brush is included for use as well and I found it works perfectly to place the paraffin on harder to dip body parts such as my knees.Not only does it help with moisturizing and softening of skin it’s also great for pain relief help from arthritis or overworked and tired joints. The results for skin softening and moisturizing were immediate and long lasting so much so that I have tried to make it a weekly part of my self care Sunday routine. I simply place a nice thick lotion on my feet and then dip into the paraffin bath several times place on a pair of plastic booties and then the fabric booties over that and rest and relax for 30 minutes or so while the paraffin works its magic.I cannot recommend enough this simple to use at home paraffin wax bath kit.

I really enjoyed using this paraffin wax machine. I've never had one before but the instructions were pretty simple and following another review, Google told me the temperature to set the wax to. I would suggest maybe heating the wax back up in small intervals while applying the layers, as it started to dry back up and became difficult to apply.I was very happy with the end results, though. I used it on my feeties as my job is tough on them and the skin has become quite rough over the last year or so, and the results are lovely. They're much softer, and no longer as callousy and itchy as they were. It was very fun to use and the box comes with a large pack of both hand and feet plastic gloves to cover with before putting on the soft booties and gloves to keep the wax warm. It was very fun to walk in those, too, lemme tell ya!! This is definitely a fun at-home spa machine to treat yourself to!!

I love this wax warmer. Most of the other ones I looked at were big gaudy colored plastic in toddler colors. As I have a chronic condition I want to use the hot wax treatment often and prefer to keep the warmer out and accessible. No way I’d keep some of those other ugly things out. This one is streamlined and attractive. I also love the temperature/adjustment dual gauge. It works well and make the unit classy. It works well and is a perfect size.My only suggestion for improvement is do something about the power cord. It sticks out 3” in the back so I can push the unit to the back of my countertop (see photo)

The only thing I would warn about is when you get it hot and the wax is all melted I had to turn it off and let it sit for a good 1/2 hour to cool down before I dipped my hand in. But it feels fabulous. They send about 6 packages of wax and you'll need to use them all for a good dip but then you peel it off and put it back in for another use.

This is fun to use, the wax melts fast, it's easy to use, I got my Husband to use it and he even enjoyed it. The machine is on the smaller side so if you had big feet you could use it for your feet, and the bottom of the machine gets hot so I recommend not putting it on carpet. All in all it's a good product.

The previous reviews talk about this lovely smell. I am at a loss as to what happened to this batch. The only good way to describe it is chemically. I thought maybe the smell would lesson when melted. It did a bit. I was curious if the smell would stick to my skin. It did a bit. Even after washing my hands there was a faint smell left behind. A little nice lavender lotion took that away. Maybe some essential oil could help? We will see.This can easily be rectified by buying a new square of paraffin wax at your local beauty supply.Inconvenient? Yes.Deal breaker? No.Melting wax; although a thermometer was provided, and there’s two switches to choose heat. It was still hard to get the right temp.The appropriate temp is 125 f.Ending thought;I loved the warmth of the wax. Made my hands feel nice. Dry cracked areas felt relieved. Maybe not totally worth the price with all the extra work it will take. There was a few that complained that the unit would not reheat. I’ll get back to you on that.EDIT:I bought new wax much better! Temp still needs to be played with. I melt the wax, turn off unit and wait for wax to be a tolerable temp then dip away. Not a big deal, but clearly not how the unit should work at the price point they offer it at.

I love getting paraffin done when I go to salons it’s so soothing and it Usually feels amazing. But unless they have the bag option, I feel unsafe, and now with CoVid it just made sense for me to purchase and the price I felt was very reasonable. I found the item for good quality. I've had one Conair model in the pass when I was in college that lasted a while but this one seems very well made and I particularly like the mitts and the plastic bags provided. I took a stainless steel ladle and poured it in the bag, then out my foot in and out the booties or mits on. The most have a velcro to keep them close. I sat and watched tv and took them off and I felt like butter ! My whole life I’ve experienced splitting cuticles and this is The best solution. Also, when it rains, or the temperature changes, my joint or arthritic pain starts so this will be great during the winter months or those cold rainy days!

Excellent product, fast delivery

Was so looking forward to the whole experience...had everything prepared....the only problem was that the wax took several hours to soften, only to the point of softening, not melting to the desired temperature. Tried the next day only to find that the appliance was not heating the wax at all. Am in the process of returning the appliance. Perhaps, unfortunately, it was just a faulty appliance. It happens!
