THE BEST STRINGS I EVER PLAYED/HAD
Im an intermediate player, and have always had trouble with hand stamina ( applying pressure while playing for 10 minutes). And string bending/ pushing up an octave like the solo in hotel California? Yeah, forget it. I didn't know why I couldn't pull it off.Turns out I had thick disgusting strings. It's no wonder the legends were able to pull off amazing solos with this. It literally feels like heaven. So smooth, and soft to touch. They feel elegant. Yet, somehow they're very strong. I had wound them up wrong so I took them out and wound up again, no problem. The strings come with PLENTY of excess, and by plenty I mean at least 5" extra in case you have trouble or need to readjust.Tone is incredible. Warm yet clear, rich and complex. It does very much sound like a 70s rock band especially on a les Paul. And for the price of 7$? Kidding me? D'addario sells some strings for 20$+ where I live. Literally THE greatest strings I had. Absolutely give it a try if you're a newbie. They will ease your play and your fingers and sanity will thank you for it.

Strings are nice and easy on the fingers
I had not tried this size before and they work great, i like the way they bend and are light enough that they dont hurt your fingers after hours of playing.

first time using this
so i have a cheap squier strat and like all cheap guitars the sound is never that good specially with distortion. To me the guitar was sounding to bright and i wanted to catch the notes more clearly and so i thought about changing pickups but after doing some research nickel string came up as a way a guitar sound warmer so i gave it a try and they do make a difference my guitar sounds better overall and the notes are more clear so I'm happy with this strings. Also is my first time using 8 gauge i read that they don't last as long as thicker strings and that they also don't stay in tune as well as thicker strings that's something to be seen a few months from now but i think that if you are using slim strings you probably don't play hard metal and your guitar pick are soft but back to the string s they feel really easy on the fingers and easy to play specifically for beginners and i would recommend for short scale guitars or six strings. For metal music and long scale guitars with 7 Strings or more I'd recommend 10 gauge and up, in terms of string material is more of a preference in sound to the player

Great and flexible pure nickel strings
I remember trying them initially in 1995. They are hex core strings but significantly more flexible than other pure nickel hex cores I've tried. To me, they have the longevity/durability of a hex core, with the flexibility of a round core pure nickel string. I've tried many brands and string types over the decades. This is probably my favorite string.

very good
very nice strings, you would think that 5-dollar strings would be trash, but they are actually very good.

I put the blue 8's on my Ibanez Gio
I use these 8's on my ibanez Gio and they are great. Nice and slinky, they bend well and are easy on the fingers to play. The skinnier strings produce a very nice tone too. I've had them on for basically a year and they are still holding up great. Thanks!Try the pink 9's too, my personal favorite, they are also excellent strings.

Works fine.
I tried these and they do work fine, but I prefer the regular slinky. (10-46). Just my personal opinion.
