The illumination is perfect ... i.e., ambiance. Subtle, and definitely gives the impression of a gaslight. After a day of "normal" amounts of sun, lasts for approximately 6 hours past dark. They're installed on fence posts that are waterfront. One was not securely fastened (my fault) and ended up in the water. Fished it out, removed the batteries and let it dry. Reinstalled it (securely this time) and it works perfectly. Have ordered another 2 pack. Definitely recommend ... NOT for lighting up a space, but for the ambiance.

Love how these look - we have them on all of our posts in backyard and it looks like dancing flames. Not too bright, but that's what we wanted. We have had for over a year and they still look great. Just bought more to put on different posts to match. Get lots of compliments as well!

This is a product review for Dynaming 6 Pack Outdoor Solar Post Lights.​**I purchased this product at the listed Amazon price for intentional product use. I am not being compensated for this review​​**☀️ I ordered these post lights to go on my 6x6 stair posts for my deck. I ordered this product on November 14th and the shipment arrived on November 18th. Upon opening the box, there were 6 lights, 12 post adapters (6 adapters for 5x5 posts and 6 adapters for 6x6 posts), a baggie of various sized screws and anchors for installation, and a 1 page set of instructions. The cost of the lights at the time of purchase was $44.98 total which amounted to $7.50 per light. That price was right in the middle of the price point of other comparable lights that I was looking at. This seller had 4 different options at the time of purchase which included quantities of 2 to 6 lights but I specifically wanted a warm white and non-flickering light which this seller only had that type of light available in a quantity of 6. Since I only needed it for 2 posts, I will keep the other 4 lights for either future projects or as replacements if needed.🌕 According to the description, I did receive all of the pieces and components. Each light requires a single AA rechargeable battery which was included and installed in each light. For convenience purposes, that will be nice for the longevity of the light due to being able to easily find and replace the battery when necessary. All the pieces were intact and had no signs of damage or warping.🌔 The majority of each light was made out of plastic with the exception being the solar panel on the top of each light. The thickness of the plastic was approximately 1/16" thick. The pros of these being plastic is that there aren't any observably sharp edges, they are light weight, and there won't be any issues with rusting from outdoor exposure to moisture. The cons are that the plastic may warp and become brittle over time due to sun exposure and temperature extremes. But considering the price point, I think the quality is good for the price.🌕 The installation really could not have been any easier. Although the instruction sheet was pretty minimal, this installation doesn't require many steps, much time, or many tools. I used a battery-operated drill to install each of the screws and that was the only tool I needed. I removed the plastic tab on each battery in each light so that battery could start charging. I then installed the lights on top of 6x6 deck posts which required me to use the 6x6 post adapters. It took 2 screws (provided) per adapter which screwed into the top of the post through the pre-drilled holes in the adapter. Then you match up the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the light assembly and the top of the adapter on 2 sides and put a screw (provided) in each hole to connect the light to the adapter. That completes the installation. It took 2 total screws per light or 4 total screws per light if adding an adapter.🌔 I don't have much to complain about when it comes to the final product. I purchased them on a budget and wanted to light up the stairs well enough to see them at night since I live in the country and there isn't much ambient light where I live. It performed on both of those points. I do wish the light assemblies were made for a 6x6 post rather than using adapters. The lights look kind of small on top of a 6x6 post but I am satisfied enough with the finished product that I can live with that.🌕 I am very pleased with the transaction overall. At this point, I have not needed to reach out to the seller for any reason. It only took 4 days to receive these so I thought the amount of shipping time was pretty quick. I would recommend these lights to others and would purchase these again myself if I needed post lights again, especially if I was looking for lights for 4x4 posts.Overall, I would rate this transaction and product satisfaction as a 4.5 out of 5

I needed light on the left side of my house desperately. Finally opened them today. They’re perfect with my vinyl fence. They had a charge after sitting in the box here for over 2 months. The light isn’t too harsh and not at all orange. My temporary solution may be closer to permanent. Great price and product.

Update: I cannot explain it, but they started working beautifully after being on the fence post for a few months. I did not change the batteries. They turn on at dusk and stay on for many hours. I'm enjoying the flickering lights and have had many compliments from friends. I wanted to update this post since they are performing as advertised.Original post: Purchased two black post caps and the first night they looked amazing and flickered for many hours. The second day they lit up, but only for a few hours. Third day nothing. No longer work. They are screwed into my 4x4 posts and I will leave them there, but such a shame they did not last longer.

Very cool appearance at night with its candle like flickering. Provides enough luminescents to see where you're walking. Unique and easy to install. Looks great in the daylight as well.

Looks really nice and fits well but doesn't stay lit for very long , goes dead after a couple hrs.

Added these to the front and back stairs. I live at the beach. It is such a fun and eye catching addition. Easy to install. A must have!

My flicker flame fence lights lit the very first day they were installed. Some nights they don't stay on too late, because, well, not much sun on some winter days! Not very bright, but I love them. Maybe I could supplement with a few electric ones.

These solar lights work really well. Love the flicker flame effect. Charged during the day in full sun. They came on when it got dark... about 10pm and were still going strong until dawn. Opened it up to see how they are wired. A single rechargeable battery that can be easily replaced. Also if really ambitious and don't care about warranty, know that by removing the screws on the bottom the entire bottom panel comes off. There's lots of room in the compartment if you get ambitious and want to wire more batteries in parallel for even longer life.

These lamp posts are exactly what I was looking for. They look very nice and give a bright light at night on our deck. The only thing to watch our for is the screws are cheaply made and many got stripped just by screwing them in the posts.

Bought these to fit over 4" decking posts as advertised saying they would easily, sadly they do not so a little disappointed

I have only had them a few months.. but I really love the look of them.
