Fisher & Paykel847201 Refrigerator Water Filter | Certified to Remove Chemicals and Contaminants from Water - Waters Filter Improves Quality and Taste - Pack of 1

I have been trying to get this replacement filter for 2 years, finding it only at the manufacturer's site or in Australia or New Zealand. Don't know why this little one is so difficult or what is so magic that it is so expensive. I hope the major filter sellers can get this one and start selling it.The manufacturer recommends every 6 months to change it, and it's $80! I waited 2 years before changing (have to learn how to turn off the annoying reminder light on the F&P frig - not hard but not intuitive). I think I'll let this one run another 2 years before replacing.Replacing it is simple if you don't mind clearing out the top right shelf of the frig, you enjoy a steady beep reminding you that the door has been open too long, and you have really long arms and a strong grip. At least it's simple once you get there. Got to love the F&P engineers who have no clue what their customer might want. But it's a prestigious brand! I do really like the frig.

Filter works well with my refrigerator, just cost too much

Nothing wrong with the product, but if I knew water filters cost this much for a Fisher & Paykel fridge, I would have thought twice about buying that brand, especially as it only lasted 6 months (the filter)

Genuine item, perfect fit for my Fridge, filtered water tastes great, but delivery was slow, 4 weeks from time of order.
