A delightful story that will make you believe in the power of friendship and love
Molly Kinsella has been friends with Andrew Fitzpatrick for almost ten years, and they have a lovely tradition of flying "home" to Ireland together every year. After a snowstorm hits Chicago, all flights are cancelled. But with the help of her friend Gabriella, Molly is determined to get him back to Ireland. A lot of the story develops during their mad city-to-city hops to reach Ireland. I love how Walsh effortlessly moves from the current timeline to the chapters that portray their previous flights together - proving that the relationship was meant to be!This charming novel is full of warmth and holiday cheer and will leave you feeling festive. However, if you're not too bothered by Christmas (like Molly and me), you'll still find yourself somehow caught up in this sweet and sexy story for its humour and witty banter. Walsh has written a powerful novel where you will end up caring about secondary characters as well - a mark of the author's immense talent. Hannah, Andrew's little sister, is adorable! And so is Zoe (Molly's twin sister!). Even though we meet Christian, Andrew's dark and sarcastic brother, only for a few chapters, I already want to know his story. I hope we meet him again!I also hope this book gets made into a movie - it would be fantastic! All those amazing locales (Chicago, Paris, London, Dublin, the country-side of Cork!), the warm-and-fuzzy Christmas markets, and strong characters would transfer so well into the big screen! So, Hollywood - are you listening?I absolutely recommend this book to everyone (as well as her previous books - The Rebound and One Night Only). It's romantic, funny, and heart-warming. And it features a few of my favourite things in a romance novel: extraordinary friendship, a strong female lead, and a man who takes care of the woman first in bed ;) So if you love rom-coms, buy this book now and get into the festive spirit!

Cat Walsh can do no wrong!
There's something very special about Christmas time: how you get to see people you haven't in months or even years, how the time seems to melt away once you get chatting again and how the magic of the holidays adds a certain something to the rekindling of friend- and relationships. It's a wonderful time for most, especially those who live away and come home to celebrate with those they love. And thus we meet Molly and Andrew - Irish expats who live in Chicago but have been getting the same flight home to Ireland at Christmas for the last ten years, developing a unique friend(ish)ship in the process. This year their flight is grounded by a freak snowstorm, and over the course of the following days they start to figure out just how to navigate outside of the boundaries of their normally once-a-year meeting.Molly is sweet, clever but guarded, not wanting to let herself open up too much and, while glad to get home to her family, has zero interest in the sentiment of Christmas.Andrew is witty, pithy and absolutely here for the Christmas glitz, magic and any other holiday trapping he can think of. He is the perfect antidote to Molly's steadfastness in relation to the Holiday spirit (or lack thereof). They work so well together, but also understandably clash, making this story of them forced to spend time together even more adorable, and as they get to know each other you can't help but fall for them.A sweet, fun, sexy Christmas Rom-com.

Amazing......
OMG, I just loved this book 📖, it is such a laugh out loud story.I also bought the audio of it, which made it so realistic. You almost felt as if you were part of the story.I have the second book 📖 in the series, and I just can't wait to get started on it.I devoured Holiday Romance in one sitting, and I'm hoping to do the same with "Snowden in."I would definitely recommend that you read this book you won't be disappointed.......

intriguing
Not bad book and story, but didn't find it at all hilarious, bit frustrating really, trying to get the years in the correct order and remembering what happened when

A fun festive time!
HOLIDAY ROMANCE is a hilarious festive romance novel about the lives of two friends over ten years. Starting on Christmas Eve a decade ago, Molly meets her roommate’s (soon-to-be ex) boyfriend Andrew when he’s randomly assigned the seat next to her on the flight home from New York to Ireland. What starts off awkward trip becomes a beloved yearly tradition, until the weather on their tenth year threatens to cancel Christmas completely. When Andrew’s disappointment is a *little* more than Molly can bear, she cooks up a plan to get them both home. Cause after all, they’re just friends. And friends do really romantic and emotionally meaningful things for each other all the time, right? And platonic friends totally kiss, too, don’t they? … don’t they?!I adored this book – truth be told I read very little romance despite it being one of my favourite film genres, and I had a really fun afternoon reading it (I’m sure there’s an airport-pun-shaped gateway book joke to be made there). It’s very Irish, it’s really sweet, I wanted to bang their heads together a little bit but in a fond sort of way and got a tiny bit teary at the end. Super recommend for a fun festive time!

A cute friends-to-lovers holiday romance story!
The premise of this story was so fun. I loved reading this the week of Christmas and getting cozy vibes from the holiday antics and rom-com moments. Loved Andrew and Molly when they finally got together and went full force with their feelings. This one will leave you smiling and swooned!

Cute and romantic
3.5 stars. I greatly enjoyed the storyline. It is funny at times and is completely adorable the whole time. The characters are likeable, and it's a light read. It's not spicy, but some lustful moments. I was bored at times and felt the story dragged on halfway through. I almost dnf because I got tired of the redundancy, but it redeemed itself. The ending wasn't spectacular, but it was pleasant. This is definitely a Hallmark-like book."I'm in love with you and I'm sorryit took me so long to figure it out. I'm sorry Iwasted so many years trying to find someoneelse, when the only one I wanted was you.""Because I know in my soul there will onlybe him. There's only ever been him."

Romance que no se hace pesado ni demasiado poco creíble. Rápido de leer, te deja con ganas de más. Muy bien en su estilo.
