My grandparents love it, and it works. Just rub your feet on it. Not recommended for use bare foot, with socks, or ice skates. Shoes work best on this device. Your dog will not scoot his/her rump across this door mat. Not a good replacement for car floor mats, dining room place mats, or building a shelter.

I ordered this mat in December, it at our back door partially covered and not high volume traffic. It is only Feburary, the words are no longer visible and the texture just shredded

I don’t know if the mat had a rip in it when I received it or if it happened shortly after but can’t imagine how laying on a flat surface. The thickness of the mat straw is great in both loft and tightness. The mat is really beautiful but is unfortunately flawed with a cheap and thin bottom layer. A disappointment for the price tag for a mat made in India.

Barely had it two months. When it gets wet, it's an outside doormat, you can't read the words.Doesn't drain well when you hang it up trying to dry it out so you can put it back down.Number one complaint is it's still new and you can't read the words.

Really bummed because I had been wanting this mat for a while....I finally pulled the trigger and it was delivered stained/discolored. Not sure if is a product defect, or if it was damaged in transit, but there are large dark splotches all over. At first I thought it was just wet, but I left in the sun, and the spots did not dry up. The quality and durability of the mat is great, though! Just (ironically) looks ~not~ good.

It’s super cute and I love the design. We have had it for maybe a month at this point... The letters do seem to be fading a bit already. That being said, it has been very rainy and snowy recently and we have had a bunch of foot traffic. But it’s a doormat... it’s to be expected.

Love this mat! Very minimal, but always brings a smile to faces that see it. Exactly what I was looking for, and I was so excited to find it on amazon for 1/2 the price it was going for on name-brand sites.

There's a funny smell when first opening, and it does shed when opening. Packaging was just in a clear plastic bag. Item arrived quickly and in perfect condition! I absolutely love being greeted by it.
