nothing fancy about these mugs, they just get the job done and I like the 16 oz capacity

I bought several of these back in 2017 last year so I would have them available if some of them failed. I recently went to put a couple of them into use and found the fluid inside was gone rendering them kind of useless as a keep cold drinking cup. It seems a proper seal was not developed on the bottom of the cup and the ones I went to put into use had never even been in the freezer. I even drilled a hole in the near top and refilled them with a fluid mixture containing water and alcohol to prevent hard freezing. They showed signs of leaking almost immediately from the bottom seal. Not to happy at the long term use of these cups due to what seems to me as a manufacturing problem from what seems an improper bottom seal. Just saying, if these have sat on a shelf waiting to be sold, it seems possible you may get some delivered with no fluid inside to retain the cold. I liked the features of not diluting my drink with melted ice water, but they have not fulfilled my expectations.. That said, I have reduced my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars because without the internal fluid they are useless to keep drinks cold without adding ice which defeats their purpose. I wouldn't blame Cajun for this problem but maybe they should complain to the manufacturer and check their remaining stock as there seems to be a manufacturing problem with their bottom seals.

Very disappointed... One cup didn't have any gel between the double layered walls of the cup for freezing!!! JUNK!!!
