It works and on long hair
I initially brought this as I'm in my third trimester and have developed a really dry itchy scalp. I was drawn to the sale price and the mostly natural ingredients. I have long, wavy hair that has a mind of its own and the "gritty" stuff of this product came out fine. I wet my hair, applied a liberal amount, scrubbing it with my hands into scalp upside down (so not into the length of the hair, only the root). I massaged the scalp with a silicone scalp brush comb thing for the 5-10 mins as directed which was like a therapy session on its own. Highly recommend using this product along with a scalp brush as I feel it helped to disperse it better. I washed out and then applied the shampoo and conditioner as normal. No issue with the product coming out. I do brush the conditioner into my hair with a wet use tangle teaser so maybe this helped ? All in all, very very happy after first use and I'm pretty glad I hit the Black Friday sale with this, getting 2 pots for £12. I wouldn't have done it otherwise and it's great to find something more natural that truly works. I haven't found a flake yet and smells great. Will update if needed

Transformational for me
Hormone changes resulted in a dry flaky scalp, psoriasis and then hair falling out. I have tried endless lists of shampoos, treatments etc but nothing helped (other than a steroid treatment from GP) then I tried this….and it has made a major difference. I still have occasional flare ups but this woks for me. The shampoo and conditioner didn’t help but this scalp scrub did. It’s gentle and moisturising so better for dry rather than oily scalps I suspect.

Really good exfoliation & natural too
This product feels like kids play slime but is actually very effective at dealing with a dry scalp.Even my hairdresser wanted to know what it was!
