Minor detail
Five stars except for one thing.I use this as a key chain "anchor." It is perfect for that.I put a layer of heavy duty clear packaging tape over the crystal to protect from scratches. It along with a few keys goes in and out of my pocket several times a day.I managed to break the hinge loop that is attached directly on the crown on the compass.If I were to ask of the manufacturer for one improvement it would be to make that feature stronger.Other than not having the strength where it counts great enough to take some abuse, this is a great compass

Not A Real Compass
Never worked right and a retired military expert said it was not a real compass. Had to give it one start, but didn't want to.

Nice compass. It did fall off the chain after one day and was lost.
