Great!!!
Great product, just the right size, lots of apps, games, books etc to choose from!! Very quick and easy to use. Battery life is good, the screen is very clear.

Long battery life and very responsive
I have a Fire 10 tablet but wanted a smaller one for travel. I already had the Fire 7" for reading but it was getting very slow. Amazon was offering a trade-in and I opted to trade in my Fire 7" for the Fire 8". The new tablet is very responsive and smooth. The battery life is also quite good, I usually use my Kindle mostly for reading but I have recently watched a movie and the quality of the video was brilliant, very clear. The table is light and easy to carry, very pleased with my new Kindle Fire HD 8"

Best buy of the year!!!!
Reasonably priced. Just the right size. You can change the size of font. You can add a sd card for more storage. Internet access. I paid a bit extra to be ad free. Well worth it. The only problem with that is, if you download games they always have adverts!! Great for audible off amazon. or Borrow box off your local library. This has been my best buy of the year.. I purchased it for the whole family, but its mine! You can also use it as a camera, lovely picture resolution. You can use ear phones, not included. Battery life is great. When it needs charging , if you forget, it will just stop working. I would have liked it in another colour. There are plenty covers you can purchase to protect it.

Good not great
I replaced my old 7" fire tablet for this 8" option on prime day. Value for money cannot be questioned and I would love to give it 5 stars but there are 2 glaring deficiencies in my opinion. Firstly Amazon insist on using their own appstore rather than Google Play which means a variety of apps are unavailable. Secondly it's quite laggy compared to other devices. However, for the money it's a good piece of kit.

Upgraded my tablet and nice to get a faster response and more features available. Nice and compact, easy to slip into a handbag or larger carrier. Holds charge well.

Perfect cheap media player
I always watch series off my phone but have been frustrated that screen is small. Wanted an iPad but didn’t want to spend that much as only want to watch series that I download off the various media players. This Fire 8 HD can whip for just £59 so I thought why not!Have already got all my Catch up players and Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney up and running and have downloaded series and films to watch when I’m out. Works a treat for a fraction of what I might have ended up playing if I hadn’t come across this.Will be taking with me on holiday too for series binging!!
