3W LED Medical Examination Lamp Mobile Type Floor Standing Dental Surgical Lamp JD1500 Flexible Gooseneck Medical Exam Light

I have a lot of different types of DIY equipment in my shop, from a bandsaw, to lathe, to 3d printer, laser cutter, and as such I have a lot of different "stations" at which I work. Having this light to wheel around from station to station is epic. The wheels and the gooseneck allow me to pinpoint light exactly where I need it. The shop is in my garage, so it is definitely not evenly lit from front to back. I use this all the time, wheeling it behind me like its an IV line or something. I do wish it was a little bit wider and brighter, but the ability to bend it to exactly where I need it makes up for that in spades.

I'm calling out the seller on this item. It is absolutely not of the quality it is advertised to be. Now let me be clear and say the stand is pretty good, but what good is a stand if the light is no good. The light is so dim it is pathetic. Let me give an example,I turned out the lights in my receiving room so total darkness, this light did not provide enough light for my 59 year old eyes to read the direction booklet ! Two things that confused me in the specifications was the fact that the light is 3 watts, but elsewhere it states 30000 lux. No where are Lumens stated. Admittedly I have a very basic understanding of the relation of Lux to Lumen, but suffice to say, a 3 watt light would have to have some kind of magic in it to get 30000 lux in its rating! A typical led bulb with a 3watt usage rating puts out about 250 lumens, held 12 inches away from a book, it would illuminate it pretty well. See my issue ? This light , even at the center of it's beam, barely lit up a black print on stark white paper. There is no way this is used for any type of medical examination illumination. Something else I noticed on the spec tag on the light stand, was 220v. Hmmm, comes with a 110 plug, and 3watt should be 3watt wether the power coming into the lamp is 110/ 220, I think. Or is that the issue, items designed to run on 220. Anyway, I have ranted long enough, don't buy this overpriced candle.

The media could not be loaded.  The VESCAZME 3W LED Medical Examination Lamp is a solid product. This lamp has wheels and a metal pole that it protrudes from.This product is easy to assemble and has good directions. The power cord is very short and the power brick awkwardly dangles from the bottom of the lamp, which I find extremely annoying.I would have liked to have had just a regular power cord instead of a power brick adapter.The flexible neck of the lamp allows you to adjust the light to many different angles and positions. I tested the lamp and it is very dim; the light does not protrude far from the lens. You must bring the light down until the lamp is almost touching an object before the object becomes illuminated. I would have liked to have seen brighter optics if desired.I am still researching to see if I can find bulbs compatible with this lamp that are brighter. I would have even preferred a halogen bulb over the one that comes with the lamp.Overall, this lamp does not meet the needs that I ordered it for. I am sure that the metal base is worth some good money, and that the wiring is well made but I feel that it is extremely overpriced and ineffective.

The base on this light is very.....light. Any slight knock with your foot sends the whole thing a few inches.The light itself is bright and the gooseneck allows you to get it as close to the action as you want.All in all this is a cheaply made light that is serviceable as long as your careful not to knock into it.4 stars

With this light, you're able to focus light on your work table. It is a big help with any close work, electronics projects or diamond paintings alike.

The foam packaging appears to be for a completely different product - the pieces were just laying in there and rolling around. For a medical light I was really shocked. The lamp body itself appears to be solid - the goose neck is rigid and holds it position well. The light is not that bright at all - you will need to have it within 12" of whatever you are examining to be able to see very well - especially if your head gets a little in the way. Not that impressed.
