(Skip to bottom for tl;dr) As someone who's been building legos since being a little kid I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of CaDa. The box quality was better than lego, with great artwork, was thick and sturdy and didn't rip when taking of plastic stickers holding it shut(lego does). The box is honestly something you could display if you are an avid enough collector it was very nice. As for the aqual bricks they held up to equal quality to lego pieces. Honestly, if it wasnt for the lack of a lego logo I could never tell them apart from lego bricks.As for the actual set it was very similar to the lego "creator expert" cars, which you can tell it was inspired by. It has many of the same features such as the doors and the steering works the same (same method) as many of those sets. However they introduced a suspension system that I haven't seen lego do as well as the option to motorize the vehicle which I also haven't seen lego do. Only con is the instructions are a little unclear at times and greys out everything except for the current step which I found annoying at times. But it was no big issue and otherwise similar to lego instructions just a small annoyance if I had misplaced a brick earlier to go back and try and find out where it happened. But it's also half the price of the lego officially licensed car models and with more features so major win! Hopefully actually decent clone companies like CaDa will force lego to bring its absurd prices down from the moon.As a lego enjoyer, car enjoyer and intial d fan I will 100% be buying the Mazda rx7 FC and FD sets from cada bricks after seeing just how high quality the ae86 was.tl;dr High quality bricks, identical quality to lego, more features than equivalent lego sets for 1/2 the price. Very good buy, I'd recommended it to anyone who likes lego or cars.

Initial D was a cartoon series that was one of my childhood memories. This product can be changed to a normal version and a project D version.There are many moving functions and details. I was worried because there were a lot of stories about missing parts in the review, but fortunately, there was no problem with me. I think I'll be buying two RX7s soon* In my case, it was a little hard to put a sticker on the back license plate of the car. If possible, you'd better put it on before assembling it

Gave as a gift. Spouse was a kid in a candy store. No missing parts.

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday. His dream car is a Miata, but I couldn’t find any sets specifically for Miatas, so this one was the next best thing. It’s taken him a long time to work on it but he loves building it and it’s a cool challenge for him. Definitely one of my favorite gifts I’ve given!

The kit itself is very nice and enjoyable to build since it is complex with tons of detail. The worst parts are how badly the directions and bags are labeled. In the beginning of the first direction booklet it says there should be bags labeled 1-5 which there are, but I have 2 bags labeled 0 and 1 bag labeled 6. The bag numbered 6 is just the windows and the 0 bags are the stand so it isn't the end of the world. Although having these bags that weren't mentioned, cause problems when you are searching each bag multiple times for missing pieces. I am missing two of the starting pieces from the beginning of the #2 bags. The ironic part of me missing 2 pieces is the fact that I have a second steering wheel that is larger than the first. Come to find out that it is the steering wheel is for the remote control which is part of the upgrade kit, so why would I have parts from a kit I don't have? So I have parts I shouldn't have, but do, and don't have parts I should and need to have.
