I've used this general model of Remington Shaver for years. It has changed appearance and small details since I started using this model more than a decade ago. The best praise you can give any product is that it works and works well. I keep buying the generally same model because it works.The model that shipped had cosmetic differences from the one depicted in the picture and description. However, it is totally compatible with the previous model. I swapped cutter heads and power cords and everything worked. The cutters look identical and have for several models. If it works, why change it?The only bad thing about this model is the pop up trimmer's plastic hinge pins will eventually break either from long daily use or if you drop the shaver just right with the trimmer up and not flush with the shaver. My current one has worked for years without it. The shaving heads are tough.I expect that maybe five plus years or more from now I might consider buying a new one. If the generally same model is available, I'll get it.

Best rotary razor I have owned, but my first Remington. Most complete shave in years.

I plugged it in, charged it up (you have to charge for four hours to get 50 minutes of shaving time). You may or may not get a close shave, depending on the time you spend. I shaved my legs and it takes about every minute to do a good job and get hairs. Otherwise, you will have patches of hair here and there it did not get. This shaver moves with your creases and gets a decent shave when you don't rush through the job. Just doing a try out for a few minutes, I got a completely smooth shin on one leg so I am sure if I take the time to go over both legs well, I will get a good result, at least good enough that hairs are not visible. One thing nice about this shaver, is that you can wash it. Most electric shavers provide you with a little brush to clean the area under the blades. This is definitely more hygenic. I personally do not like how the adapter fits in the shaver, the bottom is an angle and the plug is not, so one side looks like it isn't in The shaver is very lightweight.

The Remington razors have come a long way, and it shows. They are good quality and cheaper than other famous brands, but very reliable. I ordered the black and red one but got the blue, which was cheaper the day I bought it. Someone was careless. However, although not my choice, it works well. I should get a discount on the black and red one; c'mon Amazon, I'm an old, loyal customer!

It is replacing a Norelco that is over 20 years old, and still works. This one is not as sturdy as the old one, but thats how it is on everything now. I do like the way it goes over my adams apple with no problems, no more moving my skin to shave. You do need to make sure it is charged because you don't have the option to use it while it is plugged in. The biggest drawback is when I am shaving from the top of my beard to my lip. I use the trimer and move it from the bottom to the top. I have to hold the trimmer with my other had so it won't close.

It gives you a nice close shave replace the blades every six months

Terrible product. Not only did it leave my neck with a terrible rash/burn, it takes an incredibly long time to charge for essentially 30 minutes of use. Blades dont cut anything you must go over area over and over and over. Creating the burning I'm sure. Even using shaving cream. Trim part is terrible as well. Doesnt cut much. Must go over area multiple times. Before you know it battery is dead and you must charge again with half your beard shaved.

It shaves ok! Its Battery charge sucks!It dies very quickly after a full charge!!!No comparison to the charge that the Relco has on their shavers I have both ! would I ever buy this Remington shaver again now I would never buy it again
