R.O.C.K. in the USA !!
Just started work as a guard and getting some gear together. One of my first purchases was a belt and it adds a super clean look to my uniform. Not to mention probably the thickest belt in my collection. My daily wear at other jobs has been a Levi leather belt from Walmart for years and it’s still kickin, but bout to kick the bucket in looks at this point too. Mind you this Boston leather is one piece of leather and 3 times the thickness. Kinda like steak next to a small stack of bologna, lol. Got a nice color on it that’ll polish easy, solid shiny hardware. I can even appreciate the logo stamp on the back with Boston leather, their logo and made in the USA. Thats a huge part of why I got this one specifically was it’s made here and lemme tell you this belt will last me years. Definitely still breaking it in a month later I know some people mentioned stiffness but I like that especially for this application.

Best Belt I've ever had.
I've had this belt for 14 months as of this writing. I have worn it every day. It continues to perform like new. Very little wear evident, and no corrosion whatsoever on the buckle. No stretching (or I'm expanding to compensate?). Made in USA, and exhibits all the high quality that I expect in USA products. I've had other high quality belts in the past, typically to carry a holster. This is as good or better than any of them.Update 2 years+ after purchase. I've worn the belt almost every day for over 2 years, and it is still like new. The outer surface retains its shine. All surfaces are still deep black, and there is no perceptible wear at the buckle holes, though there is, of course, slight indentation were the buckle presses against the leather. This belt exhibits the quality I expect from a USA made product. I continue to highly recommend it.Note, I have absolutely NO connection, direct or remote, to the manufacturer. I paid full price for this belt, and am deeply satisfied with it. I suspect that I will leave it to my children as inheritance!Any future belts for me will be from Boston Leather!3 year update. Posted photos showing how belt unsnaps around buckle. This belt has been worn daily for 3 years, and shows almost no wear. Fantastic belt. While any future belts will be from Boston Leather, I can't imagine needing another for many more years.

Good belt
This seems like a good belt, it’s not a high dollar stitched belt but it’s solid enough especially at this price point. I’ve given it a few weeks of daily use before reviewing and it’s done what a belt like this should do. I wear a OWB holster daily with w mid size pistol and it holds it very well. I don’t think this’ll be a belt that lasts 10 years but if I get anything over a year of daily service I’ll be happy. I ordered two inches above pants waist size and it was perfect

Runs small, yes, but would reorder.
I would order 4” longer than pant size. 0ne inch longer may put you in the last belt notch.Quality is excellent, including feel, strength, and leather smell.

High Quality, Functional
I am a Career FF and my first Boston Leather lasted a looooong time so I wasn’t settling for anything else for my new belt. Boston Leather is the way to go.

Great Belt
I have served with the US Coast Guard for over 23 yrs and last year I advanced to E-8, or Senior Chief Petty Officer, my family surprised me with a ceremonial Chief’s Cutlass, which included a 1.75” Boston Belt. The belt was my waist size, but because of the manner of wear,(which is over a suit jacket) the belt was too small. I attempted to order the belt from the sword company, but they did not sell that size. I was happily able to find this belt on Amazon, through your company and was able to complete my uniform. The belt is great quality and will serve me well. Thank you.

Extremely stiff; not width as advertised
I refuse to buy these faux- and bonded-leather nonsense products that inevitably fall apart and/or look like garbage in short order. Looking for a genuine leather garrison belt to replace the one I have had for decades, I was expecting more from this item from Boston Leather, advertised as genuine full-grain English bridal leather. All I can attest to is that this is the stiffest leather belt I have ever owned. It is somewhat difficult just to get the belt through the buckle, to get the prong inserted, and even more difficult to get the belt through the keeper. And then the buckle sits slightly crooked to boot. If it softens up with use that may remedy the problem to some extent but after several days of use there does not seem to be any improvement in that direction. And as others have noted, although advertised as 1 3/4" wide, it is in reality only 1 5/8" inches wide. In a number of ways, it seems products that used to have name reliability have let their products go downhill quality-wise while still trying to hold onto name recognition. While this item is marginally useful, this purchase is definitely disappointing and seems to be one more example of a once-reliable brand-name letdown.

Don't buy this, get a better belt
Looks sharp, but poor quality.I’m a belt guy, who’s owned lots of belts over the years. This belt is the same kind I used to get at Army Navy Surplus. They fall apart in a couple months. The only difference: it's twice the price. Yeah, it's real leather, but it’s obviously not made from not a single strap that’s cut from one, high quality piece of leather. The top layer feels synthetic. The bottom layer is a different gain and feels really rough. What’s in the middle is anyone’s guess, but my hunch is cardboard. I’ve owned belt for less than a week. I was tipped off to the bonded leather when the front was scrapped up with white lines in less than a week. My better belts last for 10 years or longer. Some get beaten up, but they get better with age. Gentleman: go a tanner, and get a customer cut for you. You’ll be amazed at the difference.
