Really good quality cooler, especially at this price level, so most of the positive reviews were right, I test the cooler with both the reg AC and the 12 volt plug, set the temp @ 37degrees and in about 15 to 20 min, the temp was there, it jumped above and below a couple of degrees, which is to be expected, due to the outside temperature, but seems to be very consistent, I let it run for over 40 mins, and the cooler stay nice and cold inside. The unit is fairly quiet and efficient, quite impressive. I will probably plug the cooler into my vitoman portable power unit during the summer when we have a BBC outside,it use very little wattage, this way, no one need to go in and out of the house for cold beers or pops, also I think it should be great to take it on a trips or camping. The 24qts seems to be a perfect size for my need, it’s portable and I like the fact it’s light enough to carry and move around- not for long distances of course) the 32qts seems to be a better value, supposedly only two inch higher, however 24qts is big enough for my needs and two inches is still two inches. One complaint, I am not sure about their color choice for this cooler, couldn’t they use a brighter color. However, I honestly believe this cooler is still a very good value, let’s hope it last a few years, will update.

I was really leery about buying this because it’s a lot less expensive than the other brand of mobile refrigerator with a battery. BUT — it’s awesome and really works well! Get’s cold so fast, so we leave it in ECO Mode. Fits great behind the the front row seat in our Highlander (see picture). This one is 32 quarts and feels like the perfect size for road trips. Battery is rated for about 6 hours, but seems to last more like 10 hours so far. There’s no wheels for easy transport, so I carry it using the side handles for short distances. The alternative brand has wheels and a telescoping handle, but it costs a lot more. So I’m really happy with this one overall. We use it for road trips as a refrigerator primarily, but also used it as a freezer to bring ice cream to a neighbor’s movie night and left it running on battery. It kept ice cream really nicely frozen. Absolutely amazing. One reviewer said this is a game changer as far as coolers go because you no longer have to waste internal space with ice packs — he’s absolutely correct. I also feel this device is a game changer and I love the price point. Great value for how well it works. Display can be hard to read if you’re not at the right height, but that’s not a big deal. In the car, I run it off the included 110v AC plug (Highlander has a built in inverter in the back seat) or off the 12v DC plug. When I park the car and turn it off, the cooler continues to run on its internal battery. Once I return and turn the car back on, car power takes over and starts charging the internal battery again. The internal removable divider is helpful: when we have just a few soft drink cans or water bottles, we leave the divider in to prevent the cans and bottles from rolling around; we remove the divider for larger items.

I got this to use primarily as a mini fridge for my room but also liked the idea of being able to take it on camping trips and road trips.It’s been working reliably for a year and is going strong. It holds temperature consistently and is very quiet. I have it set to 33 degrees and my sodas will often have a perfect amount of ice slush in them. It’s great. The fridge parts also don’t take up much room so you don’t really lose out on storage space.I do hear a high pitched sound when the inverter is on, similar to that old CRT television sound, but it’s not loud or on enough to notice most of the time. Depending on the condition of your hearing you may or may not even hear it.The unit does a very brief and soft rumble when the compressor first kicks on too but it’s smooth and silent when it’s actually running.I can also confirm the low power consumption. I have a camp battery bank with a built in watt meter and it pulls 45 or 60 watts depending on the setting.I really can’t speak highly enough about this. It’s an icebox that’s also a fridge with a compressor and everything. It’s crazy how good fridge tech has gotten.

I buy to use as drink cooler. Perfect size, not heavy, and can hold plenty of drinks even on a hot day. Seems to be durable and built well but time will tell. It did take longer than ad to cool down but still worked to chill after 2 hours. I purchased so that I can later buy the battery for on the go travel but for now I am okay

First impression reading the product info here on Amazon, it's gonna be junk. Surprise, it's not. Before I say anything else, this does NOT come with a battery. If you want one, make sure to order one separately.I live full-time in a small travel trailer. I winter down south, and summer up north. When I started this two years ago, I was limited to how much fresh food I could keep on hand, by the size of the little fridge in the unit. I wanted something that was dual-zone, but those are too big for my limited space. This unit is the perfect size to not be in the way, while being useful. Temperature holds steady at -2*f. I took out the center divider, freed up a surprising amount of room. For example, at the beginning of deer season, I got a small doe. Once processed, with nothing else in the freezer, all the venison fit.Last summer I drove from Texas to Indiana for an event, and brought the unit with me. No problems with condensation on the seat, and it cooled my drinks and sandwich fixings rapidly, and held temp at 35*f, where I set it. I'll be installing a dual 12v outlet, and seriously considering purchasing another before I head north. Getting good meat up north was problematic last time I was there.BTW this thing has run 99% of the time since I bought it, with no hiccups. I wish the blurb at the top that said this is a frequently returned item told us WHY it was returned. Anyways, this has far exceeded my expectations.
