I recently purchased the SAKUTANE Black Backpack, hoping it would be a suitable companion for my everyday needs. Unfortunately, I found myself quite disappointed with this product, primarily due to its overall design and functionality.Firstly, while the backpack claimed to be waterproof, it failed to live up to this promise. During a light rain shower, I discovered that the water seeped through the fabric, leaving my belongings damp and unprotected. This was a significant letdown, as I was specifically looking for a waterproof bag to keep my laptop and other essentials safe in various weather conditions.Additionally, the overall construction and material quality of the backpack were subpar. The lack of reinforcement in crucial areas, such as the shoulder straps and zippers, made me question the bag’s durability in the long run. The material felt thin and flimsy, which didn’t inspire confidence in its ability to withstand regular use.Furthermore, although the bag claimed to have ample storage space with lots of pockets, I found the organization to be lacking. The interior compartments were not well-designed, making it difficult to efficiently arrange my belongings. The absence of a dedicated laptop sleeve was particularly disappointing, as it resulted in limited protection for my 15.6-inch laptop, which ended up jostling around uncomfortably.On a positive note, the backpack’s lightweight design did make it comfortable to carry for extended periods. However, this advantage was overshadowed by the other shortcomings I encountered.In terms of aesthetics, the plain and logo-less design appealed to those who prefer a minimalist look. However, the lack of visual appeal was inconsequential compared to the more significant functional issues I experienced.To sum up, I cannot recommend the SAKUTANE Black Backpack to others, particularly those seeking a waterproof bag with efficient organization and durability. It fell short of expectations in multiple areas, and its flaws outweighed the few positives it offered. I would advise exploring other options that prioritize quality and functionality for a more satisfactory backpack experience.
