Slick design and holds open.
Holds a sig kilo 850 just fine and I love the fact that you can have the flap stay open if you use your rangefinder frequently.

Fits sig kilo 4k 6x22 range finder.
The media could not be loaded. Fits the sig kilo 4k 6x22 range finder. Had to shake like crazy to have it fall out. And if you're shaking like that you might have bigger problems. Over all great quality from eberlestock. Made in Vietnam if that matters

I could not say better things about the Recon line
I love everything about the Recon line. Fits my range finder great and it has a bungee so I cant drop it while in a tree. looks good and it just works.

Good pouch with a couple small issues
This is what you’d expect: an accessory for the Recon bino harness that attaches using Molle webbing. My Vortex Viper 3000 fits in it perfectly. The top part that closes over the rangefinder is magnetic which is nice, and (I don’t understand why they don’t advertise this about some of their accessory products…) it’s water resistant! However, there are 2 flaws. Unlike the bino harness, the cover that closes over the range finder does not cover the entire pouch so in a rainy situation, rain will get inside the pouch through the top on both sides of the rangefinder. Also, the bungee cord that keeps your rangefinder tethered to the pouch has a flaw. The clip that attaches the bungee cord to the pouch isn’t manufactured to clip in tight; there is a small gap that is large enough that if you pull out the range finger in the wrong way, the rangefinder and bungee cord will come right off the pouch. I fixed this issue by very carefully bending the plastic to get it to sit tighter on the clip, but this is something that should be fixed on the manufacturing side. Overall I am satisfied with this product but REALLY wish the cover covered the entirety of the top of the pouch like the bino pack.

So far so good
I like that it doesn't have too much friction, so I can lift my rangefinder out with one hand. Fits nicely with the recon bino harness as expected.

As advertised
Product looks good out of the box. Only small recommendation is to make the flap cover a little wider to ensure less rain gets into the rangefinder.

retention is meh
if your RF is large the magnetic lid won't close.
