This is my 2nd time trying solar light for my chicken coop. This one is easy to install and the low setting is the perfect dusk to dawn light for my hens. I've had it for several weeks now & it works as expected. I would buy this one again.

Very bright with a long cord for the solar panel.This light only gets about 6 hours of direct sunlight, but even so they stay lite for most of the night.I hated walking down the side of my house because it was a very dark area. Not any more!

just what i needed

Mine is installed in a storage shed. Mounting is simple. The power wire requires a 3/4 inch dia. hole to pass the weather sealed connector through the wall. There is a short lead on the light. The light looks weather tight. The 4 click on/bright/med/dim/off switch is recessed and is a little hard to press with fat fingers or a gloved hand. All brightness settings are all on at dusk off at dawn. The off position keeps the light off but it will not turn on if the solar panel is in sunlight and providing power. This may not be good if the light is in a room with no windows. The instructions describe battery replacement but there is no visible way to open the light to replace batteries without breaking something. I left mine alone in hopes the batteries last a long time.

I would love to give it the highest rating, but it has two shortcomings for my use. First and simplest, installing the light inside and the solar cell outside required me to drill a 3/4" hole in the shed, to pass the connector through. There seemed to be no reason for this. It should have been possible to disconnect the cable from the solar cell, and pass it through a 1/4" hole.More importantly, it is evidently designed to remain on at night, and not be turned on in the daytime. The "switch" is a hard-to-push button behind a little rubber cover. It appears that the switch is meant to be set once, and left in the same position, rather than actually being used to turn the light on and off. AND it doesn't turn the light on in the daytime -- to do this, you have to unplug the power connector, and only then will the light come on.Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any easy way to correct this situation. An optional pull cord switch, for example, would help a lot. Decoupling the charging circuit from the light on/off would help. But as it is, it's less useful than it should be.ADDITION, 15 months later: I'm changing my rating to one star, even though I just bought another one. The first one stopped working after 15 months, which is surely not long for a solar powered LED light! I communicated with the tech support department of solarlight-mart.com, the seller. I was told that the controller chip on the back of the solar panel had apparently stopped working, that the lights are warrantied for only one year (this is not clear from what I see on Amazon, or anywhere else). and that "After ~15 months, I would recommend getting a new light from Amazon.". So obviously, it's a company that doesn't stand behind its product very enthusiastically.Why did I buy another? Because it''s still the only light of its kind that has warm white LEDs, and I don't want cool or "bright" white for my use. Maybe the luck of the draw will give me one that lasts longer this time.

Allows me to lumiate shaded part of yard with a solar power. Length of power cord enough to work perfect for my situation. The solar panel gets lots of sunshine and my yard is lit so I can see my dogs at night.

Easy to install and the lighting is what I was looking for in my shed. Only issue I have is that the light doesn’t work unless it’s dark outside. At dusk or on cloudy days when I could use extra light it won’t turn on because it’s too light outside.

I've had this for a year now and it works well - but note that it is not waterproof - keep it well out of the rain! I made a simple bracket to install the solar panel on a tile roof - the light itself is under the eaves out of the rain. It has 2 light levels the lower one is fine for walking around. It has a long cable - in two parts - unfortunately the connecting plug is a large diameter so I cut the plug/socket off which allowed for a small hole in the eaves to feed the wire through. I re soldered the wires and sealed with heat shrink.

ASSOLUTAMENTE FANTASTICA! Ne ho acquistata una volta per il mio camper e fa una bella luce calda molto diffusa, non è direzionale come altre lampade led, non lascia zone d'ombra e uso solo la posizione luce intermedia. Per quanto riguarda l'autonomia non le ho ancora trovato il limite e l'ho tenuta accesa per 6/7 ore consecutive. Ne acquisterò un altra per illuminare l'intero camper! La consiglio tantissimo!

Got this light for my storage shed. The top setting is super bright - better than a standard light fitting. The solar panel was easy to fix to the roof and there is plenty of cable to run to the light fitting. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an outdoor lighting option.

This is a quality made product that works well. It is much brighter than I expected. I have installed it on the outside of a shed in a semi rural environment and turned it down to medium brightness. It is also important to me that the solar panel is separated from the light with a decent length substantial cord and connector. It seems to me to be excellent value for money.
