Coconut Milk Powder = Mind Blown! Space saving and Cost Savings, it's Win-Win!
I didn't want to post a review until I actually tried this coconut milk powder. Last night, I made mashed sweet potatoes with coconut milk, which I've made several times, the only difference is this time I used the coconut milk powder (I followed the directions provided) and bam! I didn't taste any difference between the typical canned coconut milk I used and this coconut milk powder. My husband and I live on our boat full-time and we are preparing to do a circumnavigation. I use coconut milk in A LOT of my cooking and previously bought 20 cans to prepare for a lengthy passage. This takes up a lot of space and weight (and on a catamaran, reducing our weight is a big deal!), not to mention, a significant reduction in cost. Oh, and we don't own a car, so most of our grocery shopping is done by slinging a back pack on and heading to the local grocery store on our folding bicycles, so ordering straight from Amazon, simplifies everything. I will definitely be ordering more Coconut Milk Powder before we leave the U.S. and I will be sharing this product with other Liveaboards.

Has milk casein as an ingredient..so not good for those with casein allergies
Amazes me that once you buy it, the price jumps up 150%.Additives to the coconut milk are: maltodextrin which is usually created from corn and wheat but can also made from rice, potatoes and tapioca. I no longer have a corn allergy but I still have cow's milk allergy, and they added sodium caseinate to the coconut milk powder, which is a milk protein...I do have a dairy allergy although it's not that bad but I drink coconut milk to avoid the cow's milk.Odd they would put that in coconut milk so I did a bit of research and this is what I found: According to the information on the Coffee-mate website, "When sodium caseinate is processed, it is so materially altered that both dairy scientists and government regulators no longer regard it as a true dairy substance. This is why sodium caseinate can be an ingredient in non-dairy products according to FDA's regulation 21 CFR101.4 (d). Sodium caseinate also is not a source of lactose."Anyway...the powder is easy to use...but takes 2/3 cup of powder which when added to 1/ 1/4 cups of water equals a pint mason jar. I microwaved 1 1/4 cups of water for 1 minute and then added that to a quart jar which contained the powder, and then used my immersion blender to blend it and it worked great. My calculations say this will make 6 pint jars of coconut milk which will not last me long but I am happy with the quality of the milk.

It's delicious...
Overall I love this cc milk. It takes a little fussing to get it mixed well but in a blender, it's no problem at all. Having said that, it's so delicious and very well worth the fuss for me. It stores extremely well in mason jars, storage bags and in the freezer. The less water added the creamier it is and it's tastes delicious (did I already say that) especially in smoothies, coffee and in Brazilian Lemonade which is one of my favorite ways to use it. I also have added it to Powerade/Gatorade and it's delicious. (Do I need to say how delicious it is again?) Even right off the spoon it's very delicious. There, I said it again. So get some. Right away. Right now even and don't hesitate. Because....it's............................................ extremely satisfying!(I bet you thought I was going to say DELICIOUS!) oops.

Very nice in a milk bath
I know it sounds strange, but I use this in a coconut milk bath concoction and it’s absolutely wonderful! It dissolves nicely in the water and I haven’t had any complaints from my family either.

Tastes great! Excellent quality!
I bought this primarily to use in place of the Keto Kreamer my Costco recently discontinued. I definitely like it and it works really well for what I wanted. I use about a tablespoon in my coffee and I use a mini-frother to mix it in. Takes just a second and it makes it nice and creamy and frothy. The flavor and scent are really good. I also intend to use it for when I am making Thai curry, as I know it'll add a nice flavor to that as well. I read in one of the reviews that it can be used to make a delicious whipped cream, so I look forward to also using it for that purpose. I am sure I'll discover many more uses, but I was pleased, as it arrived nicely packaged, which can be resealed between uses, uniform soft powdery consistency, and a whole pound will last quite some time, even though I will be using it daily for my coffee at a minimum.

Won over this milk lover - Absolutely delicious
I own a B&B and many guests have lactose intolerance or are vegan. I used to buy bottles of almond milk but quite often most of it went to waste. Thought I would try this since you can make small batches and it will keep. I used hot water and put it in the blender for the regular milk consistency. No chalky taste, no off taste, just amazingly delicious beverage, and the color is beautifully white, not thin beige. Just stir it up after it sits. I also don't like almond milk in coffee because it makes it taste weird, but this is great. I am now using it myself in cereal, to cook and to drink because I love it that much. Never thought I would say bye bye to milk.

Very Nice - make a tropical cocktail!
I've been using canned coconut milk for years. After using this to make a great coconut cream, I'm looking forward to many uses. We'll see if it ends up replacing the cans.If you want to tropically treat yourself, make a home version of the Soggy Dollar Painkiller. I like to control the sweetness of my drinks, not to mention ingredients, and the coconut part of this recipe is really the only thing you can change up (read a Coco Lopez label sometime - Yikes). Create your own coconut concoction, add in orange juice, pineapple juice, dark rum.... shake with ice, pour over ice, a sprinkle of nutmeg on top, close your eyes and head to the beach. There are several motivational websites if you need precise measurements.Beware desiccant packages in the bag - mine had two. Yes, seemingly a bit clumpy, but dissolved well, tastes great, and the less than 3% maltodextrin is was a buying factor.

Good but clumpy
Love the product but has huge hard clumps in the bag that can’t be broken up. I bought this to put in small containers for soaps and bath salts I make so it was a little disappointing not to be able to use much of the product for that purpose. I ended up using it in my own baths not to waste and like it
