Printing was bad
Returned this because the printing g of the book was so bad you couldn’t tell what colors the landscapes were. May be a one off issue, but returned since it was useless to me. ☹️

2nd time I bought this book!
A very enjoyable practical guide to growing a living fence, inspirational, creative and well presented. I've used several of the ideas in my garden and couldn't be happier. I bought the second copy to loan, so if it gets lost I'll still have my copy, which I still appreciate.

Good start for espalier
Good guide to espalier. However, I wish it had more technical advice, though.

A great resource for the home gardener
An excellant book with lots of information on creating living fences. Based on the content, we decided to use three triple horizontal cordon espaliers as a "living fence" in our backyard. They look fantastic. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for alternatives to the usual expensive fencing solutions.

Why buy new?
This is a really nice book for those starting out in edible landscapes. Not so much for the theory about edible landscapes. Dave Jacke's book is hard to go past for that. This book, for me, is more about making parts of forest food systems "pretty". I am really really interested in espalier.I bought this second hand and for the few GBP£s it cost it is a bargain.
