Very smooth and clean feeling soap

We used to buy Pacha's whipped scrubs all the time, but switched to unscented soaps after my partner developed eczema. However, when I saw these, I thought I'd give them another try.I tried the charcoal soap. The scent here is not nearly as strong as the scrubs; it's pleasant and sort of minty. The soap itself is nice. It lathers quite well and rinses cleanly. And as far as bar soaps go, it does not dry my skin out much. I was expecting a bit more of an exfoliating effect from the charcoal, though.My main knock is that the lead ingredient is palm oil. While they say it is sustainably sourced, I don't know if I buy the idea that isn't affecting the environment. Also, the means of processing palm oil isn't generally environmentally friendly. I would have liked to see a different ingredient here, particularly with the way Pacha represents itself.Pricewise, I'm okay with it. It seems a bit high at first, but these are pretty solid blocks of soap and should last for a really long time.
