Not cheap but great item
So comfortable to wear, looks great and although expensive, is my favourite strap so far.

Shorter than they used to be
This replaced a previous genuine Apple magnetic leather strap and this one is about an inch shorter than the one it replaced. And it didn't stretch as I have the old box and its definitely longer.

Fits Apple Watch Ultra nicely
I'd read mixed reports on using this with the Apple Watch Ultra, but the 45mm band fits perfectly, matches the watch well and holds it securely too. It's a deep reddish-brown colour, which is pretty nice. I'd personally prefer a lighter tan leather, but the Umber still looks lovely. This has become my day-to-day strap for the Ultra, where I only switch back to the Alpine Loop if I'm going for a hike/any kind of activity as the leather will get sweaty quickly.

Nice strap-different size from listing but beggars can't be choosers as they've stopped making them
This review is for the Apple Watch Leather Link (45mm) - Dark Cherry - S/Mbut as it was the last one I had to submit the review for an item that was 'in stock'.I bought this because Apple said they were stopping making the leather watch straps on environmental grounds (don't know why leather is less environmentally friendly than plastic but I suspect the real reason is that there's a bigger profit margin in plastic/cloth straps). This was the last one in a non-black colour - and it was £20 cheaper than the normal price so I jumped. I have quite small wrists for a bloke (165mm circumference) which just fall into the M/L sizing - this strap was advertised as S/M but as it was the last one I took a chance. When I received it, the strap seemed to be the L/M sizing anyway (as - on my wrist - it finishes 1 'lump' short of the watch end of the short strap) ... and it's got L/M printed on the underside of the strap 🤣 - although the box says S/M 🤔. So 'nil points' for basic stock control / inspection but it'll do under the circumstances. The colour on the strap matches the picture (on my screen anyway) it is very flexible (for an 'out of the box' leather strap) and its comfortable and light (... well it's lighter than my Apple metal strap). It feels good quality and other reviews say Apple straps are better quality than the cheaper knockoffs so we'll have to see - I don't think I'll be returning it anyway as they've stopped making them.

Wonderful quality
The magnets and leather have a much better quality to them compared to the knock offs. Well worth it if you can catch it on sale.

Nice, but pricey!
You know how it goes. Apple make really nice stuff. This watch strap is lovely, fits perfectly, lovely materials great colour. Overall just really nice. The price though, ouch! It’s about twice as expensive as I feel it should be. I’ve bought one from Bellroy too (another company who know how to charge as much as they can for their products) which was just over half the price of the Apple one. I don’t regret it though, I kind of accept what I’m in for at this point!

2 months in and it's already falling apart
I've bought cheap leather straps on amazon for 10e that have lasted longer. The leather is coming away from the strap, near where it connects to the watch face (near the 3 metal bump thingys that keep the strap in place). I bought one of the original leather loop bands when the apple watch came out first and the same thing happened to that strap after a year (apple obviously didn't care as the 100e strap doesn't have a warranty). I stupidly assumed that after 5 years they would have addressed this problem but alas no.So frustrating as I'd always considered apple products well made and durable, or at least fit for purpose. I've only had the strap 2 months so far. I've been able to keep the leather down with glue, but that's outrageous for a £100 strap.I'd recommend going for the cheap knock off models Amazon has, they're just as good regarding durability, but at a fraction of apple's cost.[I use the strap with normal use. I have an office job and thankfully haven't exercised since getting it. In addition, I haven't changed the strap at all since getting it, so it hasn't been damages by myself taking it on/off.]

Beautifully crafted
This is my first of the leather link watch straps from Apple. The golden brown colour, is fairly accurate, it leans more towards an orange brown, either way it’s a classy colour. The strap itself is supple, soft and beautifully made. It’s secures to your wrist with strong magnets, even removing sweaters, coats etc, this hasn’t budged or come undone.Highly recommended, I guess you get what you pay for, in this case, quality.
