Color:Black What’s the difference between Bone conduction headphones and normal headphones? Bone conduction is a way of conducting sound by sending the sound into a different frequency of mechanical vibration. Sent through the human skull, bone labyrinth, inner ear lymph fluid transmission, screw, auditory nerve and auditory center to transmit sound waves. In contrast to the classical sound transmission of sound waves through the diaphragm, the bone conduction eliminates many acoustic transmission steps to achieve a clear sound reduction in a noisy environment, and the sound waves won't affect others. When we eat a biscuit, we can hear the sound of biscuits broken because the vibration through our teeth and skulls to our inner ear. In the 18th century, the principle of bone conduction helped the great beloved deaf composer Beethoven to hear the wonderful music. Beethoven tried a technique invented by Giovanni Phillipo, England. Where he could hear the music from the jaw bones with a stick connected to the piano. This was actually the early beginning application of the bone conduction principle.Specifications: Bluetooth version:V4.2 Charging duration: 2hrs Music play duration: Up to 6hrs Standby duration: Up to 10days Bluetooth connection range: 30 ft Speaker type: Bone conduction Bluetooth protocol: AVRCP V1.6, A2DP V1.3, HFP V1.7, HSP V1.2 Speaker sensitivity: 100± 3db Microphone sensitivity: -40±3db Weight: 39g Whats in the box ? 1 X Bone conduction headphone 1 X USB Charging Cable 1 X tension band 1 X Manual

My best Bluetooth headset by far.
As a child in the 1960's, I was introduced to the concept of bone-conduction audio by an innovative-stereo saleslady who was pitching her product to my adult sister. She had me press my hands to my ears while she pressed the magnetic drivers (normally to be invisible behind walls or on top of ceiling board) to my elbows while music was playing. Wow. Even then. My sis bought the system.A few years ago I found an early wired type of bone-conduction headphones on sale at a local store, and, remembering that experience, bought them to use while riding my bike, given their safety factor. Playback was OK, not spectacular, if decent enough for bike riding. Alas, I lost them shortly afterwards. So when I saw these Juhall Bluetooth ones on Amazon, I decided to get them after reading the reviews. Once charged (they apparently come mostly charged since this didn't take long), this music fiend tried them out.First off, as other reviewers have noted, these are not that suitable for use, say, on a bus or other mass transportation. I tried them at home and asked my husband if he could hear the music. Interestingly, yes, clearly though not loud, but it sounded to him like it was coming from somewhere else in the room, not directly from the headphones.I then took a walk to try them in an outdoor environment. I could hear the music just fine and sounds around me as well, if adjusting the volume up or down a notch or two to accomodate for varying levels of street noise. I had no issues even while walking along or crossing a busy street. The sound quality (depending of course on the music source) of these headphones is excellent, the best of all the BT ones I have. Not only is the treble crisp, but you can feel the bass, making for an immersive experience, even at moderate volume levels. With Bluetooth 4.2, audio dropout was almost nonexistent, a minor jitter maybe a couple of times, nothing like the annoying, frequent dropouts I've experienced with my 4.0-version ones when I so much as turned my head.I did try them for phone calls as well. While my husband could hear me just fine, I was having some trouble understanding him. Since this has happened on other calls with him since his voice is very resonant, it is possible I may be updating this review after trying some other calls and maybe making some adjustments. But as it stands now, music playback 5 stars, same for the other end of phone calls, calls for the user's end 3 stars. Latency on video playback yet to be determined, but I am encouraged based on the fact that there is no lag on pause/play.UPDATE: Upped this to 5 stars after handling some more calls and testing it out with both streamed and locally saved video. The audio and video, I found, sync quite well as compared with wired speakers or headphones. As for phone calls, I had no issues understanding the other party to the call on another one I tried. So, good job, Juhall!

Can't play while connected to charger.
Other than one thing I really liked these. That one thing is that they don't play while charging. Since their intended use is to stay in my car I need them to be connected to power while using. The short 6 hour battery life doesn't excite me but I could have lived with that and as far as I can tell that is pretty standard for this type headphones.

Great sound, easy to use
OMG! I am in love with these headphones. I wanted a new pair for my work at night, so I have bought a couple different ones to see which will work the best and I think I found my winner! These sit on the frontal bones just above the ears. The way they sit leaves your ears open to hear what is going on around you....which is what I need so I can hear if the baby is crying or not while I watch a video or listen to music. The sound quality is amazing! I will be recommending these to my fellow workers.

One of my favorite headsets.
I really like these a lot. I have not tried them for a phone call- but I use this with my ipad and my iphone. It will connect seamlessly to both. I love that it can not always be seen ( due to my hair) and I have a tendency to walk around listening to whatever. Easy to turn on and off, pause etc. charges quickly. I like it because the ear buds hurt after a while- does not matter the ear buds- after a bit they can make my ears tender- so this helps a lot. I have not tried to listen in bed though- because I like to lay on my side- and feel that they will conduct through the bedding. I will be trying that tonight. But if you are looking for a nice set of bluetooth headphones. This is a good choice. And the price will not kill you either.

Good for short term wear and does not move around while running/walking. Decent sound
This is my first pair of bone conduction headphones. Quick and easy setup to Bluetooth but not sure about long-term wearing.Pros:Easy setupGood soundAdjustable headband for a tight fitPower and Play/Pause are easily reachableStable fit and does not move around on the headCons:Not comfortable after wearing for more than 30 minutes or soGlasses and Hats are not comfortable to wear due to the over-the-ear placementThe volume button is on the underside of the band on the right side and is too close to the ear for me.

After 2 pair I can say they are junk
First pair wouldn't charged and burned out the charge port first attempt. I went through the warranty claim, found the personal time to have to print out and ship the things back and waited again. This time when I opened the box im almost sure its the same package. I put a piece of tape on the inside before shipping it out. And its still there on the pair they sent back that doesn't work. No power light, no charge, no response regardless of whom tries them. I'm a R.V. Tech and formerly Wind Energy Turbine Tech prior Navy Electronics Tech. I can tell you these are Junk. Maybe not all of them are. But this pair they keep trying to saddle me with are in fact junk. The people that waste hours of your time are of the same quality. Just Spend a couple more dollars like I will if I can get my money back and get a pair that might have a better chance of working once.

Great product, read my review is you have a massive head though
5 star even though I sent it back... great product. My head is way above average in size, the tension strap helps for smaller heads. But how fat my head is in the back made it hard to get good pressure on my cheek bone with the device. My only fix would be to run a tension strap around the front of my face/forehead. Let friends try it, it's amazing. Sucks I have a big noggin

The price is very reasonable when compare to the ones that are pricier.
This is the second pair of Bone Conduction Headphones that I have owned; the first one’s did not meet expectations. The ones supplied by Juhall seem to work well. I use them every almost everyday that I work out.The neat thing is that I can listen to my music and at the same time have separate discussions with my work out friends. I have also used them a medium for telephone conversation and have mixed feelings. Having said that I would not hesitate to buy another pair.
