I bought this collar for my 3 month old pitty puppy. She wasn't to fawned of wearing it but it did look really good on her (I got the light grey one). She did pretty good with responding to the commands. Within 1 wk of her using it she can now go out without a leash. It really did wonders for us. The only thing I dont like about it is that the collar is not removable from the electrical component so you can't really wash it. If you're buying for a puppy or a smaller dog just know you'll have plenty of collar left for growth.

This collar has worked really well. I'm glad it has three different options for correction. My 6 month old puppy doesn't mind wearing it as far as comfort goes. I have only had to use the beep and vibrate features with her but I tried the shock while I was holding it and it definitely works. It seems to have a decent charge too.

My Brittany mix was good with recall about 85% of the time, and then there would be those moments when her stubborn side came out and she thought it was way more fun to taunt me with keep away. This happened sometimes in potentially dangerous environments and there were also moments when I or someone from my family spent more than 45 minutes trying to get her to come inside or get in a car.Enter the PatPet collar. Following extensive research, I decided to give an electric collar a try. We have now had it over a year and it has revolutionized what I can do with my dog and has majorly decreased my stress level. My pup understand the collar within about 30 minutes of training with it. To be clear, the beep was enough to make her come running following the training, and I used vibrate maybe two times, just for exposure. We have NEVER used the shock.My dog now associates the collar and remote with running free outside, and any time I take it out she goes absolutely wild with excitement. She fully understands what she needs to do and the use of the e-collar has changed the nature of our relationship and resulted in her perfect listening skills. To be clear, she gets a vibrate maybe once per month, despite using the collar 4-5 times/week, and again, she has never been shocked. I would say we beep maybe 1-2 times/week. Otherwise, just taking the remote out of your pocket after calling her name is enough for her to come happily running over.The collar is exceedingly durable. My water dog has spent upwards of two hours in the water before with her collar on, with zero impacts.I used to train service dogs and have previously only used positive reinforcement with my dogs. We figured out a way to train the collar in a less punitive way and it has resulted in my dog being happier and more eager to please than ever before.

I have a medium-size 46 pound dog and this training collar is good and effective with a short range of approximately 50 to 60 yards. Once you get past that distance, the signal seems to fade and stops training the dog but for short distances it works extremely well.

This is our second collar. We absolutely love it! Adjusts easy. Vibrate function immediately gets our Bernese mountain dogs attention. The beep has become our warning for him, and rarely do we need to use the vibrate function. Once charges, doesn’t need charged for a month or more.

This is my second one purchased. Love it. Works great! Holds a charge for a VERY LONG TIME. I wish my cell phone stayed charged like this collar. Easy to use. Lasts a long time. The only reason my last one broke is because I dropped the hand controller in the water.

This is a review of the yellow collar that I recently bought and received an hour or so ago. I just completed the return process.I bought one of these, the gray one, a year or so ago. Works great. Five stars.I got out of the habit of testing the collar every time I used it. I also got into the habit of just sliding the collar on the little fella. It seems that the collar was not "clicked" tight and it fell off somewhere. Looking for the collar in the woods and fields was fruitless because the gray just blends in too well. Using the tone button didn't help because the collar had apparently turned itself off. All my fault.Accepting the loss, I went and purchased a second. Say! a yellow one might be good. Should stand out well and make it easier to find. Click and buy.Unfortunately, the collar is now slightly different. The gray model had two sets of metal prongs that could be screwed out. Also silicone covers. They came in two sizes in case your dog has a thick coat. Not anymore. One size. Now it's just two silicone covered prongs that can't be removed. We don't need them - we only use the tone and buzz - and they rub or stick in his neck. I think the vendor provides rubber covers to cover the silicone prongs but we didn't try them (by that time we had started to think we were going to try and return the product and we didn't want to ruin any packaging).Second, the gray model had a two wire USB cable for charging each device, the collar and remote control, at the same time. Not now. One single USB cable.Maybe some people might like these changes, but we're pretty disappointed.
