It's no faster than a cheaper speed rope, but it's definitely more durable. The bearings are so smooth. I've never seen something built to such a high specification for an application like this. The result is that you actually lose some of the feedback the rope gives you as it rotates, which can interfere with timing cross overs whilst doing double unders. I've never had a problem with that before, but this rope makes it a lot harder. However, it's a great rope! Smooth delivery and it's going to save me a small fortune in ropes, which tend not to withstand the thousands of double unders i subject them to each day.I like that the rope can be easily adjusted and swapped out, should it break, by the spring loaded quick release mechanism.

Had this for a few months and use 3-4 x a week indoor @ gym. The handles are metal and get very slippery once you start sweating.This is annoying especially during cardio.The rope itself is the main issue, so it’s a metal mesh braid coated in a form of plastic/rubbers, problem is that the metal mesh inside is very prone to bending or breaking apart through the plastic.This effects the rotation of the rope regardless of the ball bearing technology around the handles it will start to snag and eventually tangle.I fold the rope neatly is a circular fashion without directly bending and also skip indoors yet the mesh has still become damaged.Solution: Buy a rope with rubber coated handles for better grip which stays firm even while sweating/wet.Buy a rope with a pure rubber/pvc without the metal centre mesh, they sell these with the same ball bearing function which will keep the rope turning freely with your rotations.Sure it may wear but no different than the one they’re selling here but you’ll avoid a metal mesh breaking out through the plastics, more importantly it will maintain a flexible shape and not bend like a paper clip.

Great for a week then it keeps coming apart while using. The screws are not self locking and so comes away. Not great when the heavy metal hits another gym member in the face!

Looks great, unfortunately one of the handles didn't accept the rope and so is defective. Disappointing. Sending straight back.

Very good quality, easy to adjust spare cable and it’s own carry bag very well thought out piece of kit 👍
