Application & Removal Temperature note: PaintArmor should only be applied and removed between 70 and 85 Degrees Fahrenheit (20-30 Celcius). Do not freeze PaintArmor.2. What you'll need: PaintArmorDIY is a non-spray application and great results can be had with using tools you may already have (paint roller or paint edging brush) or are at the local hardware store. 3. PaintArmor dries well with the use of a fan. Any floor fan will do. Gentle turbulence over the coated surface will help dry each coat in about 5 minutes.4. If you are applying or removing in cold weather, please move your vehicle inside and heat the room to between 70 and 85 Degrees Fahrenheit (20-30 Celcius). ORDERING NOTES:1. Clear: Clear PaintArmor will tend to aerate and become cloudy with a roller, so you may prefer to use an edging brush with Clear PaintArmor. 2. Colored PaintArmor: OEM finishes vary in many ways. If you are intending to apply colored PaintArmor is it advisable to apply 2 coats of Clear PaintArmor to insulate the original finish and help avoid any possible tinting via the colored PaintArmor.3. PaintArmor is a short term protective film. If you will leave PaintArmor on your vehicle longer than 6 months, or if applying PaintArmor to a previously chipped finish, over plastics, rubber or matte finishes, apply PaintArmor NanoCoat on the surface to be coated first. NanoCoat will ensure easy removal in these cases. To apply NanoCoat, just wipe on, let dry for a few minutes and then buff.

Protects finish very well from road debris, bugs and track use.
I applied two coats of clear Paint Armor DIY to the entire nose, hood, front fenders and A pillars of my car for a three day track event. I used two different sized small microfiber rollers and a 1" foam brush. Paint Armor DIY held up very well for the entire weekend, including the three hour drive to and from Indianapolis. Rubber thrown up from the track that hits the Paint Armor coating leaves black marks that can't be completely rubbed off, but it's a temporary protection so no concerns. Bugs can be wiped off the dried film with a damp rag. The dried Paint Armor is quite resistant to light rain and dew. Any whitish appearance from the moisture quickly dries to clear again. I had a little trouble peeling the Paint Armor film off my car until I discovered you can use a piece of masking tape to pull away an edge to get you started. Masking tape is also very effective at removing any remaining small pieces at hood edges, etc. Next time I plan to apply three coats to make the film a little easier to peel away. I'm quite happy with this product.

The EASIEST way to PROTECT your car's paint YOURSELF! Works on other parts too!
Paint Armor DIY is an amazing product! I just bought a new car and ordered some DIY to cover the entire front end of my car. After properly cleaning and prepping the surfaces with wax, it was incredibly easy to brush this coating on with a foam brush. I also used a foam roller and did my entire hood! I also coated the gloss plastic grille/trim pieces on the front end.Unlike other liquid wraps, Paint Armor DIY has nearly no smell. It dries quickly to a durable, textured finish. The more layers you put on, the stronger the film will be and the more protection you'll get against stone chips, road debris and other paint-damaging hazards. It peels off easily and I've found it doesn't get hard like some of the common wrap/coating products. It's more costly to buy, but there's a reason why and you get what you pay for! I've also applied it on both the plastic and painted door sill trim areas on the interior of my new car, which have always gotten scuffed by shoes on past cars. I've solved two problems with one product. This stuff will keep everything in great condition and it can be easily peeled off and recoated! Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed.
