Good value for money and simple to use. Used as a backup charger for KIA EV6 when away from home. Its only IP rated for water splashes so would not leave the control box end out in heavy rain.

Be Careful, I don't know why but the product malfunctioned causing the RCD to trip and the 3 point plug to fuse in the socket - very worrying.I cant work out how to send it back!

EV charger, Great additional to have to use for an Electronical car. Incase you can't find any EV charging point. and need it for an emergency.

The media could not be loaded.  Just to clarify, the flickering of the display in my review is caused by my phone and not representative of the actual display, which is fine.I realise it's only intended to give a trickle charge but the 6A is barely a trickle...Charging a 50KWh from 20-80% with a 1.5KW supply would take around 15-20 hours. 10 hours for a 13KWh PHEV.Looking at the label on the back of the box, it almost suggests that there are individual products for current ranges.

My electric car came with a three pin plug (i.e. a normal plug) charger. (I also have a wall charger installed). The three pin charger outputs 2kw. The wall charger does 7kw.I am often away from home and this charger is a handy addition. As it is a 3kw charger it is actually 50% better than the manufacturer supplied one.No problem using it. I plugged it into the car, then into an external socket and turned it on - and it started charging at 3kw pretty quickly.It's not cheap at more than £200 at the time of this review but it seems very well made and that extra kw per hour will come in very handy.All in all a good piece of kit.

Having recently purchased our first EV this was an immediate purchase for us to go alongside the car! Arrived quickly and was super easy to set up, just plug into the mains and the display will activate, showing charging power etc. It comes in a handy carry case so we intend on leaving this one in the car for on the go charging! Top marks from us!

Charging time for a full charge is longer than expected.
