Think it's working, not too sure, think it's early days yet.

Not entirely convinced but seems to work - ?

This is my first time taking boswellia and it wasn’t a supplement I’d heard of or researched before I was lucky enough to be offered the chance to try it. In the last year though I’ve tried other Ayurvedic remedies of ashwagandha and shatavari with really positive results.The capsules come in a bottle with a really flip top lid which makes them handy to dispense. At 1 capsule per day and currently £16.99 for 180 capsules (almost 6 months supply) this is a really economical supplement so doesn’t feel like so much of gamble of it doesn’t work out for you.The capsules have quite a strong herbal smell to me and slight taste of thyme but it’s not unpleasant. They are slightly smaller than fish oil capsules and easy enough to swallow for someone who is used to taking capsules.I have to be honest that I think it’s too early days for me to be certain that this is having a positive effect. I have chronic back pain following surgery and although it is usually bad going into winter it can vary a bit so I can’t attribute the felt it’s felt less severe in the last couple of weeks to the boswellia. It certainly hasn’t done anything for my acute pain of period cramps this week!

I hadn't heard of this supplement before, but further research suggests it can help reduce inflammation. I can't take anti-inflammatory medication because it really irritates my stomach so I was happy to try this. I would say it works well! A decent alternative to prescription and over-the-counter meds. As always, do your own research first.

People have been using frankincense medicinally for thousands of years, did you know that? I had no idea... to be honest, beyond it being one of the gifts given to Jesus at His birth, and something burnt in church, I didn't really know much about it.I've read up about it some now, and if even half of the claims are true, it is amazing, amazing stuff. Hence, I suppose, it being one of the three gifts.It is known to:~ reduce inflammation... really quite significantly. Both joint pain and arthritic pain are reduced with frankincense. Even rubbed in topically, frankincense seems beneficial with joint pain.~ improves gut function... it reduces bloating, alleviates symptoms of IBS and its associated depression. Now, here's what's funny. I didn't know IBS is associated with depression, but it makes sense (I have IBS sometimes, and depression seems to come with it, but I never made the connection.) But since taking these supplements, I haven't felt a lick of depression... it's just occurring to me as I write this!~ improves symptoms of asthma, and bronchitis... it is thought to affect the cytokines~ it's antibacterial, and seems to be especially helpful for oral and gum health~ looks like it may have anti-cancer properties. It hasn't been studied enough to confirm it, but early evidence shows that frankincense stops the spread of cancer cells and even limits their growth~ is thought to lower blood sugar levels, and help with diabetesSo, it's incredible stuff - absolutely deserved to be one of the 3 gifts, in fact.You take just 1 capsule a day, so the one bottle will last you 6 months. That's more than enough time to see if it works for you and given it's only £19.99 for the bottle, I honestly can't think of too many supplements I'd sooner take a chance on.Can't recommend them more highly.

This is an excellent supplement providing high quality Boswellia.I really like that it doesn't have any nasties and provides a high strength extract of Boswellia.It works really quickly and is great for pain and inflammation. You can feel significant reduction in pain and even swelling very quickly.I have tried other H&C supplements and I really like how they are formulated providing very clean ingredients and this supplement is no different. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something to help with pain and inflammation.

This is my second bottle and they really seem to help with my osteoarthritis will keep taking them there is no flavour so no stars

I thought this product would take a few days or even weeks to get into my system before I felt the benefits, but the capsules actually act like regular painkillers and work within an hour of taking them. They have the same effect on my painful arthritis as Ibuprofen does but unfortunately, they don't seem to last as long. The pain and swelling was back again after three hours and I can usually go most of the day on two Ibuprofen and you are only supposed to take one of these a day so I couldn't take any more.I am, however, going to persist with them until I can't stand it anymore as I'd rather take a natural product that doesn't do me any harm than keep taking chemically derived painkillers that I may eventually become immune to. The bottle is large and there're enough to last a few months so I'll keep on with them as long as I can - so far, so good!
