Got this jar to make my own disinfected wipes, Works great for it. The jar is big enough and the glass is thick.

It’s the most fantastic glass jar ever. It will not disappoint you, if you are looking for a one gallon glass jar. If your looking something else it may disappoint because it’s a glass jar.Pros: no moving parts so so don’t think wear and tear is going to be a problem. The rubber band that came with mite need replacing at some point.Cons: it will probably shatter if dropped so try not to do that.

I needed a gallon jar for fermentation and am currently brewing tepache. This jar was easy to clean and seems sturdy. I was hoping this would fit my wide mouth canning jar fermentation lids but it does not. That was my own mistake. So, the included cloth and rubber band came in handy and are appreciated. The only negative was the price, but this jar was among the more reasonably priced on Amazon.

I’ve made sun tea with this before and it worked really well

I make sun tea year-round (live in the southwest), and the two glass containers I purchased are just what I need. They seem slightly thicker than the old container I used (which broke recently). The tops go on and come off easily even with tea bag strings arrayed around the edge. I have only had them for a day, but I already know they will work fine.

Perfectly sized gallon wide mouth jar. It even came with a cheesecloth and a rubber band to go over the top. It’s perfect for a homemade kombucha system.

Used this to make refrigerator pickles. Worked great. Sturdy, easy to fill and clean, a great pickle jar. This will work.

I used the glass jar for Kamboocha. It is not a mason jar but seems sufficient. I was disappointed for the cloth provided as it appears to be just a rag. I created my own lid for safety of my drink.
