Speed V Comp
FINALLY, a saddle that feels like it was made just for me. I have been through so much money trying to find the right saddle and have not had any luck. I tried Selle SMP TRK, Specialized Riva Road and Mountain, I have an Adamo that was $200, a huge cushion seat, I had one 2day aired from Northern Ireland, and a few others but never found one that worked. I ride 12 miles one way to get to the trail and the mountain saddles I have tried would rub very bad on the road when my cadence was higher but be fine on the trail. The road saddles would cause so much pain on my sit bones because they would put me in an aggressive position but I have a trail bike and ride more upright. Then I found the Speed V and it was like this was molded just for me. I went for my first ride today on the Speed V and my legs gave out before I have an ounce of soreness in my seat area. I rode street, trail, rocks, and even thru some grass that was shoulder high and not even the slightest little bit of discomfort. I am kicking myself in the butt because I have read great reviews about this saddle but never gave it a chance because I didn't think it looked sleek enough for me. I am one of those people where everything has to look like it goes together or it bothers me to the point where I cant stop thinking about it. Its stupid I know but everybody has something wrong with them. Man, I wish I would of ordered this saddle right when I bought my bike because it is slick looking. The picture, for what ever reason, does not make this saddle look very good. It looks like it is big and heavy and ugly and way to thick but this is a very nice saddle. I wish they would tilt it on its side more because it is way more low profile than it appears to be. Perfect amount of padding and the padding has the right amount of density. The width is right on the money and the length is just right for me. To sum it up, THIS WILL BE THE LAST BRAND OF SADDLE THAT WILL EVER BE ATTACHED TO MY SEAT POST!!!

Excellent Saddle for Mountain Biking!
Until buying the WTB Speed V Comp Saddle, I've never been completely satisfied with any of my many saddles. I've owned 2 Terry saddles (1 with titanium rails), a few Selle, a Forte, and more Specialized saddles than I care to remember, all with the "V" cut-out, Minkow Wedge design. Invariable, I would experience some numbness in my crotch area on long rides, which forced me to readjust how I sat on the saddle, or have to take breaks to ensure proper blood flow.I own a WTB Laser V Pro (on the old side now), but found it just way too hard for my butt. I also own a WTB Rocket saddle which was OE on one of my mtn bikes, which I find to be a fine saddle and much improved over any of the Specialized and other listed brands above. However, I decided to try the WTB Speed V Comp saddle, and immediately knew that this is the perfect saddle for me. It's still very stylish, has good weight, WTB's traditional design/shape, but provides a fairly firm surface to sit on, but which is also incredibly comfortable for your "sit bones." And, while ascending long climbs, its design helps me prevent any numbing sensation as well.I agree with the other reviewer about gel saddles and for the same reasons. You don't want all areas of your bottom to be make contact with so much of your saddle surface, but rather you want some spaces to prevent against blood flow constriction. This is really a fine, comfortable, and stylish saddle that is worth every penny.

Has held up to commuting well
Purchased this item in 2014 to replace a worn saddle on my daily commuter. It has survived ~5+ years of hanging out in the sun and/or rain during the day with minimal signs of fading. It held up well to the couple of times it unexpectedly came into contact with payment, the scuffed/torn area has not grown in size in the years since it happened and the damage has not resulted in corners or edges that would wear clothing or make the saddle any less comfortable than when it started.

Great quality seat
Buying a seat online is always going to be a tricky thing. I was looking for a replacement for the OEM seat that came on my 1998 Specialized Rockhopper, without being too spendy, and I found a review sight that mentioned this guy as one of the good ones. Notably, all of the other "good ones" on that site were 2-3x the price. So I splashed out on this and so far (about 200 miles), it's been great. My butt and perineum are giving my much less issues, even though I likely haven't "broken in" the seat yet. The seat is attractive on my bike (I got the grey and black ones). One star off as the decals are starting to rub off already, but that's not a big deal. I'm very happy with this purchase.

doesn't look like it is very hip for road bikes but does ...
Wow. Not costly, doesn't look like it is very hip for road bikes but does it work for me. This is my, I am embarrassed to say, 5th seat I bought in the last 2 months preparing for a century ride. I use bike shorts, but really needed a non gel (I learned my lesson with heat and gel seats) that allowed me to sit up every now and then. While this does hold my ischium sit bones, and I need to readjust, I am amazed how the firmness is just right. The front is maybe a little too bulky for boys with more to worry about, and it is not the coolest (as opposed to warmest), but it is the best blend I have found. I found out about it on a review site for road and mountain bikers, so apparently others find it works for them as well

Very happy with this saddle
I purchased this saddle for a Full Suspension JAMIS Dakar mountain bike as I was very unhappy with the stock saddle. As I was getting back into mountain biking I rapidly began to realize that I was simply getting too old to go OTB (Over the Bars) without injuring myself. Since I enjoy cycling I decided to buy a road bike. I decided on a Cannondale CAAD 10. I rode the bike for 30 minutes and had the sorest derriere that I can ever recall. I immediately replaced the stock Cannondale saddle with the WTB since I wanted to ride my new bike. 400 miles later it is still on the road bike ;-) I absolutely LOVE this saddle and cannot recommend it higher. It works really well and you will be amazed as to how comfortable it is. I would recommend that you measure your 'sit bones' (BING or GOOGLE it) to be sure of the right saddle width for your body but if this saddle size works for you buy it without hesitation.

Decent budget saddle.
I was looking to upgrade my old seat to something more comfortable and appropriate to my riding style. All in all going from basic shwinn to this was an upgrade but this is hardly the most comfortable seat out there. For the value I really can't complain though!

Quality seems good, a bit hard for those of us without much natural padding. If it hada bit softer padding, it would be just about perfect.
